the beginning of the end

3 years had past the world was back to normal. London had finished rebuilding. We all basically forgot about the army of darkness. Me and the team were separated I was in Washington DC. The last thing we expected was an attack for the darkness. It all happened so fast we barely had time to react. On July 19 2027 at 1700 hundred hours a dragon appeared in the sky is shot fire out of its mouth, it was so big that when it first showed up it blocked out the sun. Everyone scrambled to get there gear on. The airforce sent out hundreds of Jets to fight the beast. And if that wasn't bad enough ground forces were killing everything on the ground. We were out maned and out matched. But we kept fighting.

"Go go go !!"our commander yelled

Hundreds of our troops were sent out in helicopters to assist in the evacuation of Washington. I got on one of the choppers to help special forces, the army Rangers. were sent out to by time for civilians to get out of the city. All of a sudden the dragon turned it's focus on us.

"Open fire on the son of a bitch!!" The chopper pilot yelled

The gunner was shooting everything he had at it , we were even shooting out at the bastard the military was giving they're all in this battle but we were getting our asses kicked. The dragon shot fire at us and caused the copper to go down.

"Fuck hold on" I yelled hanging on to the nearest thing I could find.

I don't know how long I was our but when I woke up the army Rangers who I was with were dead the seemed to have died in the crash.

"Looks like it's just me then."I grabbed a m4a2 and ran to the front lines

The airforce was still trying to kill the dragon. I saw a few enemies and I opened fire on them it took about 5 rounds to put one of them down.

"Got ya bastards" I said to myself

I herd heavy footsteps behind me so I turned around and got picked up and thrown 40 feet into a wall.

"Ah fuck!" I yelled as I got back up I grabbed my gun and started shooting at the guy but the bullets had no effect on him. So I ran twords him and used the gun like a club. This hurt him he stumbled back and held his head I took the opportunity to jump on his back and stab him in the eye with my bayonet.

"Fuck you" a said aloud the I spit on the dead body.

I then continued to go forward about 3 blocks and then I found a team of soldiers who were running away they were so scared that the didn't even acknowledge I was there they pasted me. About 30 seconds after they past me I saw it figure it looked like a human. I naturally thought it was a civilian so I ran up to the person.

"Hey do you need help" I didn't hear an answer so I asked again

"U.S. Army do you need help" I got within 20 feet and I was grabbed by the throat and thrown to the ground.

"We are the darkness and we will rule over humanity" the person said

"Not wile I'm still alive " I pulled out my side arm and shot a whole clip into the persons face they just laphed and throw me against into what was left of a Starbucks.

"What with all the throwing!!?" I asked to myself

When I stood up I was shocked to find that the person was no were in sight. I thought the person had ran off. But I was wrong. When I walked out of the destroyed Starbucks I had my weapon ready and I stepped slowly and cautiously I couldn't see a damn thing the smoke from all the fires had caused visibility to be very limited. The bitch finely decide to show itself it picked me up by the neck I tried to shoot it but it broke my gun. So i broke it's arm or what ever it was and I put a grenade in its mouth and pushed it off of me then I jumped behind a car as it exploded shrapnel flew through the car. I stood up and looked at the dead enemy.
