Honestly, I wasn't feeling the love here at the Stark tower. Despite the events that should have sent me to the media raving about how terrible the Avengers are. And that some of them can't even tell the difference between peace and war I was planning on staying. Maybe I could even make a difference. It was then that I had decided that I would make it my personal mission to change the Avengers for the better. Or at least some of them. My feet had led me to the kitchen, I had no plans of cooking at the moment but I was hungry, the pancakes that Clint and I had made were gone before I got the chance, even Fury had eaten one. Bye the mumbles of the people I'm guessing that they tasted good. I looked through a cupboard before pulling out some cereal and milk. As I poured the milk I heard someone walk into the kitchen. Looking up it was Natasha.
"Hey Nat." I say attempting to be cheerful.
"Hey Jessica, how are you feeling this morning?" She asked.
"Good, you?" I automatically replied.
"Right, I'm awake." She replied looking at me suspiciously.
"I heard Luna is out of town for a week." She commented cautiously. I shut the fridge a little harder than I had intended.
"That'd be correct." I said. She gave me a sympathetic look.
"I'm so sorry, If I had of known." She started but I put a hand up to stop her.
"I don't need your sympathy but thanks for thinking of me." I said trying not to be too harsh. If there was one thing in this world that I could not stand it was sympathy. We all got problems.
"When you finish breakfast head to the training room Cap's gonna change it up a little, considering the circumstances." And with that she left.

By the time I made it to the training room everyone but Tony and Bruce were there.
"Ah, Jackson I'm glad you showed up, despite the events we will continue training, a true avenger keeps himself in top shape even in the toughest of times." Steve walked over to me.
"Now is the perfect opportunity to practice with out the help of Luna. This will be useful if silver is ever used against you in battle. Let's start with some basic combat. Hey Nat could you do some basic combat work with Calyn? She needs to strength her human." He called out to Nat and she walks over.
"On it Cap." He left and we got down to work. The rest of the week I trained with Nat  but the last day she changed it up a little.
"I know that the Captain said basic combat and that he means physical work, but I think if you just punch the punching bag today while I spit out some pure gold that will work just fine." She says smiling at her choice of words.

"Gold?" I ask."
"Yep, something that has served me well across the years. I little bit of persuasion can go a long way and get you out of some really sticky situations." I began punching the bag and payed close attention to everything that Nat was saying. I figured that it could be really useful.
" And to really put the cherry on top of the whole situation thank them for their co-operation that really gets them." She finished and I was grateful that she had taken the time to give me some of her secrets.
"I think it's about dinner time now." She says looking at her watch. We headed to the kitchen area where it turned out that pizza had been ordered and we were just waiting for the delivery guy. I caught up with Grant and we started drinking these weird shots that Clint promised us were worth the hangover. Later on Tony and Bruce showed up but I was too drunk to care. Grant however had different plans. Especially when Tony came over to apologise.
"What the hell gives you the right to come over here and speak to her, you're freaking messed up." He began shouting at him. I tried to stop him but when I tried to walk everything was and I tripped over my own feet. I started to laugh along with Nat and Clint.
"Now look what you've down, Stark. You're a bloody menace." Grant continued. Stark scoffed.
"Ha, if anyone is at fault here it'd be clint for giving her the drink, can't you see she's off her face."
"Why so serious? Let's have some fun for a bit." I crawled over to them because my legs were too untrustworthy. Silence washed over the room.
"I wanna go to the zoo." I blurted out.
"Maybe we can go when we have a break in the next few days." Grant suggests.
"But I wanna go now." I complain.
"Jessica, maybe you stay here for a bit. It seems that you are a little drunk right now." Nat attempted to calm me down.
"No, we need to go now." I started to throw a temper tantrum. I tried to control myself but to be honest I had I felt like I was on the outside just watching my body act without my permission.
"Hey, Calyn how about we make some pancakes instead?" Clint succeeded in distracting me.
"Mmm, that sounds like a brilliant idea, I didn't get to eat any of the ones from this morning." I smiled and felt myself fall into a comfortable darkness.
