Secret meetings

The rest of the week, we continued training and I continued to call Triplett each night, but Grant and I started meeting in the middle of the night. The Avengers allowed us no other time to see each other, so midnight meeting became extremely valuable to us.
"Hey Grant." I say as I walk into the kitchen, our meeting place.
"Hey honey, how was training today?" He asked as he turned on the lights.
"Aggravating as usual. I feel like I've failed, I can't seem to get control of my anger." I said disappointed in myself.
"I know the feeling. Tony's trying to teach me how to keep a team together in times when morale is low. I work better alone." He also seemed disappointed.
"I think I finally understand why so many recruits have resigned. You just feel like a failure." I sat on the bench.
"Let's talk about something else." Grant looked at me with a strange smile before walking right up to me. I was very aware of the little distance between our faces right now.
"Or do something else." I suggested. His lips crashed into mine and I felt the world disappear. All I knew right now was that I needed Grant. I could never let him go. I put my hands in his hair and wrapped my legs around him and the kiss deepened. There was no denying the fact that I couldn't get enough of him right now.
"Erghmm." A voice cleared their throat in the doorway. I growled and looked their way. It was Clint.
"Settle down, you guys do know what a kitchen is for, cooking." He said looking at us suspiciously. He thought about that for a second then corrected.
"Cooking food, not babies." Grant stumbled over his words and blushed, I was just irritated. Actually my wolf was irritated, she has never been so active in my life. I could feel her fighting for control.
"Stop." I said and both guys looked at me funny.
"My wolf she's trying to take over. Step away from me Grant." He did as I said and that just made her more angry. I lost control and it felt like I was in third person.
"Finally, I can speak, you have no idea how frustrating it is trying to communicate with Jessy here." My voice said, but it wasn't me.
"Your eyes." Grant looked at me/her.
"Yes I do love my wolf eyes. I'm Luna." I/she said.
"So handsome." I/She said to Grant.
"Thanks." He mumbled.
I heard what she was going to say. I could hear her thought. 'He's our mate?' I asked her. 'Yes.' She replied softly.
"Now I would appreciate it, Clint if you didn't interrupt me and my-" Luna started.
"No!" I shouted.
"I'm not sure what just happened then, but I'm tired and could be dreaming, so I'm going back to sleep." Clint yawned and walked off.
"I'm sorry about her. I didn't know she could talk." I looked at him apologetically.
"What was she saying?" Grant looked at me with a cute expression.
"I don't know." I lied. I hated to do that but I couldn't tell him. Not yet. I needed to be 100% sure. I needed more information about it. It was then that I realized that we were looking at the orientation phase all wrong. If we kept focusing on how we were failing and comparing ourselves to the Avengers, we were going to fail like t he rest of them. I told Grant what I had realized. At first he was skeptical, but I managed to convince him. He then kissed me on the forehead and we went our separate ways.

When I got back to my room I opened my newly found communication channel and started talking to Luna.
'What on Earth were you thinking? He can't know.' I scolded.
'Why not? He has right to this information just as we do.'
'That's not the issue, I don't, we don't know enough about this.' That quietened her for a second.
'Then we'll go and find out.' I thought about that and decided that was a good idea.
'Hey Luna, before you leave, why have we never been able to communicate before?' I asked curiously.
'I wasn't awakened until recently, I don't know why, I'm as new to this as you are.' I thought that was strange, but bid her goodnight and headed to bed. I tried to sleep but it was no use, I couldn't stop thinking about the whole mate thing. I decided to do some research. Looking at the time, I had approximately 5 hours before everyone will wake up at 6. I headed to the 'library'. I thought it would be full of books bu, no. Instead there were only tablets. I decided to try it out, I searched werewolves. Unfortunately there  was a lot to sort through, all the fake information, Twilight. I finally found a site that looked promising. I clicked the link but when the page tried to load the S.H.E.I.L.D symbol came up on the screen.

"What is this mutiny?!" I shouted.

"Mutiny?" A voice questioned from the door. I jumped and my hand fluttered to my heart. I turned to see Tony standing in the door way.
"Yes, mutiny." I replied my heart slower. He shook his head.

"What are you searching this late at night, or morning." he looked at his watch and the to my screen.
"I see, blocked by S.H.I.E.L.D Isn't that the worst?" He smiled sympathetically.

"Happened to you before?" I questioned.
"Many times." He smiled. Then he looked thoughtful.
"Considering I'm not technically part of S.H.I.E.L.D  I think I can help you. One thing S.H.I.E.L.D can't do is block books. Especially cook books. Now I suggest you go back to bed, you've got a big tomorrow." He said and motioned for me to leave, and I did. Now with even more on my mind than before.
