I couldn't sleep a wink these past few days. After my encounter with Lobos, he was serious about not sleeping with me anymore. After what Nicholas said to me? I thought it would be best that way. I didn't want to have awkward moments and start thinking if there was any amount of truth in that statement alone.

I can see why Miguel is infatuated with you, you are such a delight

That sentence sleep deprived me. I hated Lobos and now he is infatuated with me? I will never like that man, no matter how good looking he was. Fact remains, the bastard is a drug lord or whatever and he murdered someone in front of me and it's clear as daylight that, that wasn't the first person he killed nor the last.

Thank God today it was Friday and I had no reason to get up early tomorrow, so all this tossing and turning I was doing weren't going to cause problems for me tomorrow.

I threw off the bed covers off my body and jumped off the bed. I was wearing my superman t-shirt, the one I looovved so much. It was a gift to my dad from me, he was my super man and I was going to remember him by it. And I was fortunate that Lobos agreed to go get some of my staff at my apartment.

I put on my fluffy bunny sleepers and walked out of my room to the living room downstairs. I decided I will watch a movie and hopefully fall asleep.

I made microwave popcorn that I begged Nicholas to get me, much against Lobos's approval. The man hated everything I did except for my cooking. Ever since I let him sleep in, he has been back into his cold shell.

I try not to think about him much but I can't help it. The goodness inside my heart just wants me to listen to him, to get to know him, to let him have peaceful nights. Nicholas did mention that he has never had a good night rest in years and I just felt for him, but in return all I'm getting is a cold shoulder and millions of things to do as his personal assistant. He was being unfair and I couldn't object, I was terrified of the man hey?!

I sprinkled cheddar flavored spice over the popcorn and danced my way to the living room. I was dancing to the popcorn, well the cheddar flavor is boss like that anyway!

"JESUS!" I flipped when I entered the living room. Lobos was sitting quietly on the couch in the dark, a glass in his hand and a drink swirling in it. He just looked straight ahead as if he was dead! Now that was not a sight and definitely not what I wanted to see during the ungodly hours.

I didn't even expect him to be up.

"You have to be dramatic all the time?" He asked, annoyance sliding off his Spanish tongue.

"You have to be spooky all the time?" I retorted back, and walked around the one seater to sit on the other long couch, opposite Lobos.

"It's my house!"

"And I live in it, so what is your point?" I grabbed one of the throw blankets folded neatly on the arm rest and placed it over my exposed thighs.

I didn't realize I was half naked till I felt Lobos's eyes bore holes onto my thighs. Even though it was dark, the lights from outside were illuminating the living room, giving it some tiny ounce of light.

"Must you always be annoying?" He was growing impatient. I knew this because he pinched his nose, he does that a lot when he is ticked off.

"Must you always brood?" I rolled my eyes. And picked up the remote that was on the coffee table and turned on the TV. suddenly the living room came to life. I noticed a bottle of Hennessy sitting on the coffee table next to him. I shook my head and focused on the TV.
