"Kill her! And do it now, and fast!" Carter barked the orders at his men who held Kimberly captive. From the hold of Stefano Baria's men to being under Carter's. Kimberly's life was hanging on a thread and the only way to survive this was if Donovan pulled through for her.

With her head covered with black plastic bag, she was bound and gagged and put in a closed room, but she could still hear Carter's menacing voice, shouting orders outside.

Her heart accelarated, and she thought she'd throw up whatever was left inside of her. She smelled wrong, she hadn't eaten anything stable to keep her going, at any minute, the lights will come off and she wouldn't even feel anything when they kill her.

"I will do it." Vincent, also known as Donovan offered to kill the girl and Immediately he said that, hundreds of gunshots fired through the house and all the men had to take charge.

"Do it now." Carter ordered for Donovan to kill Kimberly while he went to check whoever the intruder was in his home, no doubt it was bloody Lobos.

Donovan walked in the room Kimberly was in, she was in a bad, bad state. He pulled a knife and badly cut his legs drawing blood. He smeared blood around Kimberly's neck and again he slit his arm and dropped the blood over Kimberly's dress, just in case somebody actually wanted to see if she has died. With luck on their side, Kimberly fainted, falling limp on the ground. Donovan removed the plastic and the gag, untied her hands and picked her up.

Over the years he has been working for Carter, he knew just which doors to use in case of an emergency.

Just as he reached the roof, ready to make an exit, the door swung open revealing the most striking, sexy woman clad in black skin tight pants and a matching top that hung to her like second skin. She seemed to be flying down from a chopper, a gun in her hand. One look at Donovan confused her as she saw Miguel in him, her eyes casted down to the limp woman in his arms.

"Is she dead?" She questioned through gritted teeth. Donovan shook his head.

"Get her in the chopper, I'll be fine." She informed him and when he got to the roof of the house, he was shocked to the moon and back. There lay all of Carter's men, all the men that had come to the roof to shield their boss's empire lay dead on the roof  with their guns next to them.

Donovan was shocked that it was a woman's work that had done that. He was impressed and quite scared. A woman who could take out a man and still not bat an eyelash or show any signs of remorse, guilt or fear was to be feared.

Miguel, and Nicholas were on the other side of the mansion, destroying what Carter has built until all was left was Miguel and Carter in his bedroom, where Carter was hiding.

"You are a piece of shit!" Carter snarled, a gun in his hand pointing at Miguel whose clothes were torn because of the fight he was up against outside. "You killed my son and now you trying to wipe out my empire, my only son!" You could detect the sadness and hurt in his voice.

Miguel wanted to feel sorry for the bald headed man but he couldn't find it in his heart to. "You sent your son to spy on us, I was merely taking care of what's mine, I'm sorry he was the only one you had." Miguel nonchantly replied.

"You could have scared him off, he was just a little boy!" Carter argued.

"A little boy holding a gun against me? Are you kidding me? It was my life or his, and I am sorry for taking the one thing you loved but you should have protected him against all that instead of sending a cub to do a lion's job. But you also have crossed the lines once too many time Carter, you here acting holier than thou, knowing very well you had Ruiz's mother killed and let me tell you, I won't be the end of you." Miguel smirked as he watched the emotions crossing Carter's face. It was from shock, to fear, to disbelief.

"You wouldn't dare!" Carter accused, deep down in his ending he knew that it was over for him.

"Want to bet?" Miguel wiggled his brows, even when his body was in pain, he tried by all means to keep up. The adrenaline pumping in his bloodstream kept him going.

"If I go down, you go down as-" before Carter could finish talking Miguel shot the hand that held the gun, causing it to drop to the ground, and that gave him a chance to slip out of the room, running for his life.

He ran so fast, in no particular direction until he saw stairs leading him to the roof.  There he found the chopper still waiting. He ran towards it but his heart stopped beating the minute he saw Kimberly in it, looking lifeless.

"NO!" He screamed and Donovan stopped him. "She is still alive, it's my blood." Miguel sighed in relief and in that instance he knew this girl was he weakness at the same time his strength.

Arriving back at Miguel's house, aunt Charlotte was the first to welcome them at the threshold. Her hand covering her mouth at the sight of her niece. "My baby!" She almost cried but was told the girl was still alive.

The doctors were called in and Kimberly was sedated and cared for.

"Lobos!" Scarlett walked in Miguel's office where he was, wrapped in his own thoughts. "Are you okay?" She asked, sitting down on the chair infront of his desk.

"Nicholas killed Stefano." He replied. "Brutally so." He chucked down the contents of the glass. The raw whiskey, undiluted with ice.

Scarlett bit her bottom lip, trying to find the right words to say but she came up with nothing, if anything she wanted to pop bottles and dance on tables in celebration of the monster finally dying.

"I should be happy I guess, or at least relieved but I am sitting here, thinking of burying him." He confessed. "After all he has done to me, I still want to give him a dignified burial. I can't even explain why."

The woman stood up and poured herself a glass of cherry. "I really wish I could understand that." She snickered. "I mean the man deserves to be burnt and have his ashes thrown away at some dirty river." She sat back down, sipping on her cherry.

"Nicholas refused to listen to me when I told him I wanted to bury him. I don't blame him, the man killed my girlfriend and he was about to get another one killed. He sure does deserve to be beheaded, right?" He looked at Scarlett, vulnerability dancing in his eyes.

"Beheaded? Nick chopped the man's head off? Hmm! He must be pissed ye?" Scarlett couldn't believe just how much hatred Nick had in store for the old man.
The two talked for a while until Aunt charlotte asked to speak with Miguel, privately.

Scarlett left them to go pack up her belongings, as she couldn't leave her dad's empire for longer than she wished.

"I told you once my Molly was home safe, we are leaving so I need you to let her go. When she's up and about we are leaving and it will be the end of you two." The aunt spoke, her eyes glistening with anger.

"I love her." Miguel told her. He did indeed, he couldn't see his life any other way without Kimberly.

"And I love her too, but do you see me putting her life in danger? No. So please, let us not debate on this. If you truly love her, you will set her free, free from this cruel world." Charlotte deadpanned. "My molly deserves a happy life, a normal life not what you have her accustomed to." She stood up and left the room leaving Miguel in a worsened state than he was when he found out what Nicholas had done.

Picking up the whole bottle of whiskey he chucked it at his window, the bottle breaking to pieces. He was defeated. He thought he had found love again but he was wrong. He was going to be all alone again and it was something he needed to get used to. He was meant to be alone.
