Chapter 27 of You & I: Feels Like Paradise

// Guys I just wanted to thank you all for so much support, I know I've been lacking on updating and I'm terribly sorry that when I do update the chapters are pretty short. Just please bare with me, I've not been on wattpad as much as I used to but that doesn't mean I'm giving up on updating. I promise that I'll try to update whenever I can, I hope you all enjoy the chapter.

Chapter 27

(Nicole's POV)

I pulled Brooke into a hug. Just knowing that one of my old friends is on this island makes me feel a lot better. I mean when I was little I usually only hung out  with Jermey. But I would sometimes hangout with Brooke too. She was always pretty nice when I did hangout with her, so reuniting with her is nice.

Once we broke from our hug I gave her a faint smile.

"I'm going to go talk to Niall." I said as I walked back into the sand.

Once I saw Niall I began to feel a lot better, I walked over to him. He looked at me worriedly, clearly Louis didn't tell him about Katrina.

I sniffed and wiped the tears from my eyes.

"What's wrong Nicole?" Niall asked nervously.

I just hugged embraced him in a hug and cried.

"It's Katrina."

"Nicole, she couldn't have." Niall said, knowing what I was about to say.

"She did Niall, she died."  I cried.

"Nicole, I-I don't know what to say." Niall said.

"I'm so sorry." He added.

After hugging Niall for about 10 minutes I pulled away and sniffed.

"It's gonna be okay." He whispered as he put his arm around me.

"Do you want to take a walk on the beach? Maybe that'll take your mind off of things." Niall added.

I nodded.

So we started walking on the warm sand. I looked at the ocean water, so calm. Yet sometimes rough. It was so calm when we first boarded the ship, now, look where that water got us; to a island.

"Nicole I've been thinking about some things." Niall said.

I looked over at Niall.

"What is it?" I asked.

Then we stopped walking and sat down in the sand, the water hit my feet but it didn't hit the rest of my body. I loved how calm it was, so peaceful too.

Niall put his arm around me and  I rested my head on his chest.

"Well."He said.

"Nicole no matter how much we've been through we still stick together. We've gone through so much and yet we're still together, you make me so happy just being around you. Nicole everything's about you is amazing, you make me feel so complete when I'm with you.  Before I meet you I just felt like I was missing something, now that I've meet you,  everything has changed. I'm so happy it did because without you it's just so different. And, Nicole, would you like to be my girlfriend?" Niall asked.
