Black Blood Rejection

Kurai's P.O.V.
I finally had enough. I didn't like not knowing what was happening with me out of control! I won't let power overwhelm me!

"Get the hell out of my body!" I screamed as I forced myself into control then felt my body start to jerk around and pain soared through.

Maka's P.O.V.
I was growing more and more tired. But I couldn't let Kurai take Crona! I won't let that happen!

I raced towards Kurai again and just as she was about to slice at my waist she dropped the demon sword and Crona as she arched her back and spikes grew from her body while she screamed. I quickly stopped myself keeping my distance and panted.

"What's happening?! A blood rejection?!" Soul appeared in the blade and I nodded breathless. I took a deep breath steadying myself as I stood straight.

"Nows a good time to grab Crona and get lost!" I coughed out and started to race to Crona. Suddenly I felt Soul disappear from my hand and I spun around to see him walking towards Kurai "Soul?!"

Soul's P.O.V.
"Soul?!" I heard Maka call to me but I ignored her as I walked to Kurai.

She was screaming in pain as she fell to her knees as her body rejected the black blood inside.

"Kurai! It's Soul! Can you hear me?! It's ok! I'm here for you!" I kneeled down in front of her ignoring the spikes around me as I took her hand tightly.

Suddenly her screaming ceased as the spikes retreated and I felt her grip onto my hand. She lowered her head down to mine as tears fell from her cheeks "Soul..."

I smiled feeling her head with mine and leaned up to meet her lips with mine "Kurai...."

Maka's P.O.V.
I stared in shock to see Soul and Kurai kiss. My heart shattered at the sight and I tensed. I looked away as I walked to Crona and took her hand pulling her up to wrap her arm over my shoulders. I started to walk back towards the DWMA feeling tears sting my eyes and fall down my cheeks to the ground.

"I...I should've told you how I felt Soul." I muttered quietly as I carried Crona with me.

Kurai's P.O.V.
"Kurai! It's Soul! Can you hear me?! It's ok! I'm here for you!" I heard Soul's voice echoing through the madness. I reached out to the light I saw and broke through the thick madness holding me as the demon called for me to return.

I could feel Soul's presence close to mine as I gripped onto his hand. I opened my eyes seeing the sky then lowered my head as I saw Soul looking at me with worry. I pressed my head to his to gaze into his crimson eyes as I took a soft breath "Soul..." I muttered softly to him.

He leaned closer to me and I could feel his soft lips brush against mine. The madness within me rested and I fell to his touch as I slowly wrapped my arms around his neck after hearing him softly mutter to me "Kurai..."

I felt Soul hug my waist to his and I held onto him tighter as we kept the kiss for a while. I broke away for a breath and looked at him "Soul, thank you for saving me!" I smiled at him and rested my head on his shoulder as he held me close.

"Of course. I will always be there to protect you." He said to me and I closed my eyes exhausted from the black blood.

Poor Maka!!! But hey Kurai got saved!!! But what about Medusa? Did she find out about her missing child? Is she coming back to get her daughters. Guess I'll just leave you guys on a cliffhanger ;D
