Maka P.O.V

I gasped as I watch Kurai transform into a purple and gold scythe. She looked just like Soul's transformation did.

"Yes! A scythe as powerful as a death scythe." Kurai said and I say her face appear in the scythe blade.

"How about we check the super skills?" Yoshiko asked.

"Let's do it. Resonate with me Yoshi!" Kurai said and Yoshiko nodded.

"Let's go Soul Resonance!" The two shouted in unison. Yoshiko glowed a bright gold with a purple accent to it. Then Kurai grew.

"Super skill, mark 1. Witch Hunter!" Yoshiko said swinging Kurai then landing her blade face down in front of her.

"Y-you, you activated witch hunter in the minute she transformed!" Kid stuttered.

"How is that possible? It took Maka and I weeks to learn." Soul said in disbelief and I was curious to find out.

"Kurai, next super skill. Increase soul resonance." Yoshiko ignored the comments as Kurai increased their resonance wavelength. Kurai grew again in a larger and sharper blade.

"Super skill, mark 2, Genie Hunter." Yoshiko lifted Kurai up and placed her handle's bottom on the ground.

"H-how did you do that?!" Soul became irritated now. I, however, grew more curious.

"Kurai, reach resonance final. Last super skill." Yoshiko commanded and Kurai increased their resonance again. She grew in size and color!

"Super skill, mark 3, final skill. Kishin Hunter!" Yoshiko swung Kurai and then threw her in the air letting Kurai transform back into a human and land on her feet. Kurai turned to Yoshiko.

"The skills are impressive, even without black blood, if we add the black blood it should grow in power." Kurai explained to Yoshiko.

"That's good. We can discover the death scythe mode and its powers tomorrow or later on. Resonating makes me tired." Yoshiko said and this time I knew Soul lost it.

"Yo, what the hell was that?! Maka and I couldn't ever do any of that within the amount of time you did! So start explaining!" Soul was extremely pissed now and Kurai and Yoshiko looked at us.

"Kurai has a shapeshifting weapon wavelength that allows her to copy the soul wavelength of a weapon. She can then adjust her wavelength to match that one and transform into the weapon. But she also has the ability to amplify soul resonance at high rates, allowing us to discover super skills within a matter of minutes. Plus her black blood makes up for a witch's soul, which can unlock a weapon's death scythe mode, but she also gained a witch's soul which strengthens her abilities and unlocked new ones." Yoshiko explained and I just stared!

"Black blood!" Soul said, "She's a black blooded weapon like me."

"Yes, expect I can control my black blood. I can demonstrate for you one of the things I can use my black blood to do." Kurai said and Soul nodded.

"Turn yourself into a scythe and Maka you cut me." Kurai said and I shook my head.

"I can't use Soul to cut you!" I said

"Maka, lets just do it and see what happens. Aren't you curious?" Soul said smirking and I knew he wanted to get out some anger on Kurai for being able to outshine him. I sighed then nodded. Soul transformed and I grabbed his handle. I rushed at Kurai, slicing her arm and shoulder. Then turned around to see the damage I did.

I gasped when I saw Kurai's arm drip with black blood. Then the blood flowed up to her wounds and closed them. Sealing them to make it look like she was never injured. Kurai started laughing.
