White lies. I hate them. I think they're so stupid. What's the point of lying about something little, which doesn't make a difference just so you can act like you're in the know. For example:
Person1: "What are you doing?"
Person 2:"I'm reading a wattpad story."
Now imagine person1 has absolutely NO idea what wattpad is but doesn't want person 2 t o think they're not updated with "trending things". This is when person 1 tells a stupid white lie.
Person 1: "I love reading wattpad stories. They're my favourite type of stories."
Person 2: "Oh what's your watty name then?"
Person 1 "um.." *awkward moment*
Busted. If person 1 knew what wattpad was they would know you don't need an account to read the stories. If they just admitted they didn't know it wouldn't have made any difference. The same with watching movies or anything. I don't care if you haven't seen the latest movie. I'm still going to talk to you. Like did you hear about Derek Medina? I don't care if you didn't! (He posted he killed his wife on Facebook btw)
White lies are stupid. A little white lie turns into a massive vortex of spiralling out of control lies.
