On our way home instead of walking down the alley we ran. It was like a marathon for how fast we were going. I dare say, we probably even ran faster than Flash himself! Our steps echoed through in the sky as our feet padded the ground violently. Just missing the strewn out debre that had blown from people's trash cans.

After we met our end of the alley way I had begun guiding Lily as she continued to try and get her “imagination” back.

“You know, I don't think walking with your eyes closed is going to help you see him any better.” I teased.

“Says you! Urgh, I don't get it! How do I not have imagination?! I'm the one who had the spell book idea! You were the one who didn't wanna do it! Shouldn't it be the other way around?!” Lily complained finally letting her pale blue eyes flutter open.

“Lil', I don't think it's exactly how you are saying it to be. Maybe it's something different than imagination, because to me you are the biggest little kid I've ever met and your imagination couldn't be any more out of control. So, maybe it's something else.” I shrugged rubbing my arms to keep warm in the fall weather. Even though I was wearing a jacket a wet head from my earlier shower didn't really help one insulate warmth.

“I don't know. Maybe...” She trailed off.

“Well, this is you. See you at school?”

“Yeaup.”

“Don't walk around with your eyes closed anymore!” I joked as I headed off down the sidewalk with HIM following at my side.

Lily waved off and headed around the house to her window.

The rest of the walk home was pretty quiet. HE had a really stupid grin on his face. It was either in victory of sticking around or for something that made me really happy I couldn't read minds.

We got back to the old oak tree that rose perfectly to my window. Whenever I had snuck out it was usually to meet someone at the bottom. That same someone who would help me back up. Unfortunately, that someone wasn't there anymore and I struggled to reach for the lowest branch on the account of my 5'3 height.

“Here,” a voice came and I was hoisted up to the branch I had been aiming for.

I had almost forgotten though that person I wasn't there anymore I still had another residing at my side... even if just spell bound.

I mumbled a thanks and started climbing with him following right behind.

I carefully reached for my window and hopped in like a gymnastic champion. I turned around to give a hand to the boy I imagined to be dangling outside my window only to slam into a firm wall. Turns out that firm wall was him chest and he had made it in perfectly fine through the window. I was about to curse him away for him not giving a warning when a high pitched howl broke the silence before I had the chance.

“WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!?” (please tell me someone else read that in Mrs. Weasley's voice? XDD)

“Heeey mom. Wow! Those curlers. You know how to rock 'em.” I said shooting my hands up like guns and winking. Her anger did not waver.

“Paul! Paul, get in here!” The tall petite blonde haired woman called forth my father.

Loud steps came bounding down the hall signaling the distance of my father.

“Ma, really? It's late. Dad doesn't need to be brought into this.” I ran a frustrated hand threw my wet hair only for it to get stuck.

“What is it, Marilyn?” He asked leaning into the room peeking over his reading glasses.
