Chapter 5: Whats Going On

Arora was seperated from the team as she was joined with Sarge an Duke. This place was very much different to all the places she's been in and this place screams DEATH!
This place gives off that scary dead vibe. Why didn't they have more lights? Like in the entrance hall; the door to the bio-engineered weaponry opened an Sarge along with Duke walked out.

"Anything interesting?", she asked as Sarge passed her. "nope, nothing! This place is creepy as fuck", Duke muttered to himself .

They moved through the halls as Arora kept her front facing towards the back, eyes never leaving her sniper scope. She always felt on edge when something wasn't right.
She turned around quickly as gun shots reverberated through her ears, that came from their comms.
"What the fuck was that?". She hissed to them.

She looked to Sarge who demanded for a contact report from the shooter.
"Friendly fire Sarge, just wasting ghosts ", Destroyers voice came through the comms. Sarge moioned for Duke to move further as he looked back at me," you good Arora?", she looked at him and nodded and continued walking ahead!

"Theres movement in Carmacks office", Goats voice through the comm said. It went silent then all we could hear was shots being fired. We ran after them through the dark tunnels. We could hear the voices as we approached and heard Reaper,"if you have a weapon , drop it"!

"Shit man", Goat, Destroyer, Portman and The Kid were all looking at something just out of our view. We rounded the corner and I stopped us in front of Reaper who backed me up from the man a bit.
We stared shocked at the horrified man in front of us.

I could barely contain a dry retch when I realized the man was holding on to an arm.
"Why the fuck is he holding someone else's arm?". I spoke up. "Where are the other scientists ?" Reaper demanded. Arora found it hard to believe that this man wouldn't give them a coherent answer. He seemed to have been making some sort of growling noise which caused Reaper to push Arora behind him, glad that she didn't protest as she stood behind him looking over his shoulder. "That's fucking sick ", as she said that Samantha skid through the hall

"Sam I told you to stay-", as John tried to hold her back.
"But he knows me John", Arora turned her attention to the man who backed up in the corner. I wasn't exactly sure what Samantha was thinking as she couldn't see anything that resembled that the man knew her. To my shock Samantha inched her way forward close to the man.

  "I'm not going to hurt you Dr. Carmack!", Arora continued to stare at the man. Either Carmack has a double ganger twin or something really really fucked up happened here. We never had this kind of shit on any of the mission before. This was a second for me! But more brutal an severe!

Carmack made a strange noise snapping Arora out of her thoughts and his hand flew to the side of his head. At first she thought he was going to backhand Samantha and kinda wished he did so she could smoke his ass but instead he ripped his ear off...

I jumped back and saw Kid gagging in my peripheral vision.
"Jesus Christ ", was all that Samantha said before she asked for a med kit to patch him.

"He needs a bullet in his head more than what we can do for him", Arora said to Sarge. He looked to Carmack an I knew he didn't like this situation one bit.

"Duke, you take Dr. Grimm and Dr. Carmack to the med lab, Portman Kid you get the vents. If we flush this thing out it can only be to you, everybody else you know what to do! Reaper!". Sarge called out.
"Keep an eye on Arora, this might take her back to some bad memories", he said as he took off to leave Arora waiting for him.
Destroyer went with Sarge as Arora, Goat and Reaper were a group. Bringing up the rear Aroras eyes never left her scope. Something was down here with them.... Something more evil than any human being.. But what????
