"What?!" I half screamed, half shouted. He rolled his eyes at me.

"You heard me." He said. I looked back at him with wide eyes. Was he serious? Am I ready for a relationship already? It's just a date for crying out loud India, calm the fuck down.

"Cover for me," I told Jerry before turning my attention back to the man in front of me.

I put the rag down on the table and wiped my hands on my apron. I made a motion for him to follow me as I walked out of the cafe.

"So, what do you say?" He asked me. I looked at him, trying to understand how a guy like him could ever like a girl like me.

I wasn't even as close to being as beautiful as those stick thin models he's probably always with.

"I haven't had sex since I've known you." He admitted. I gasped and looked around noticing people staring at us.

"Is that supposed to make me jump into your arms?" I asked him. He shook his head.

"No, but it should make you want to at least give me a chance to prove myself to you." He said. I looked down at the ground, feeling a rush of sadness come over me.

"Why do guys like playing with my feelings?" I asked him. "I'm getting sick and tired of getting hurt." He grabbed onto my hand and kissed it.

"Haven't you've been told already that I'm not like any of those guys you've been with?" He asked me. I shrugged my shoulders. "I'm much better. I know how to treat a woman right." I looked up into his eyes. "I want you to be the one and only woman that I treat right."

"How can I trust a word that comes out of your mouth?" I asked him.

"You'll just have to try." He said. "We all make mistakes and I want you to know that you aren't one." I blushed.

"India, get back to work." My boss said, peeping his head out of the door, "I won't hesitate and fire you this instant." I slightly jumped because he scared the hell out of me.

"I have to go." I said to Ethan who frowned in response.

"Will you come to dinner with me?" He asked me. I nodded.

"I'd love to." I said.

"I'll pick you up after your shift ends." He said, kissing me on my forehead.

I walked back into the Cafe with my cheeks probably bright because of how much I'm blushing right now.
