I lost my parents when I was six while my older brother Eli was twelve. We lived on our own until about three years after when Social Services finally found us hiding out inside an abandoned house. I have been in foster care ever since while Eli ran away the last I saw him was when they tore me from his shirt at nine years old. My life has been just me for a while it’s hard for me to trust new people after what I’ve gone through with abusive families, and what Eli did to me.
