Chapter 9- The name of the game REVENGE

I look out the window of my room and continue to think of how I told Luke about Malcolm.  And I think I did the right thing by telling him it’s good one person here knows.  I lean back on my window seat staring at the sky starting to get dark with rain.

This is going to be a horrible day if it rains I hate the rain. I get up to stop my own little pity party and think about yesterday and Luke and I cannot help but smile.  I walk into the hall and go to the stairs. I still cannot believe how big this house is I have been here about two weeks and have only seen a few rooms.

Once in the kitchen I look around and see that nobody is anywhere to be seen. The house is dark and I here no yelling or shouting, no arguing, no Xbox. It is completely silent.  I continue to look around the house only to then be surprise once again and have someone throw me over their shoulder.

I let out a scream only to have my mouth covered and some voices yelling things like be careful and watch it idiot. I really need to go into some kind of protection program if this keeps up and I really hope it doesn’t.

After less then two minutes I am put into what feels like a chair and the blind fold is taken off. I look around I am in the house in a room I have only glanced at it is the boys game room and I see all seven boys around me.

“Man you are pretty light for someone who can pack a punch.” Wes says and his brothers laugh all looking at Nate

“Why did you have to scare” I yell

They all look taken aback and I see Luke in the back giving me pleading eyes to not over react. Or well that’s what it looks like. Then Austin speaks. “We all need to talk, we have made some mistakes and you have kept something from us. We don’t know what but we know something big so talk.” He says his all his nervousness from the first day we meet gone.

I gulp then look at all of them staring at me and I take in a breathe. “No I will not tell you. All you will do is just like every other foster family that found out. You will treat me like I am made of china and not like you are known.” I say because it’s true Luke is the first person I have told about Malcolm myself but all my foster family have known and they always let me get away with anything because they felt sorry for  me and I hated them treating like I was special I just want as normal a life I can have. Is that too much to ask?

Zane is the one to speak “Look we want to apologize all of us we are not used to living with a girl and we kind of freaked. Looks please just tell us we want to understand. Where not as bad as you think and I promise we will not treat you different. If you want you can be our new little sister.” He says with a corny grin.

“OK but I’m telling you everything I’m not ready for that I will say the quick version. And I like that idea and I guess I can give you another chance. But once I tell you but you have to promise not to tell James or Serce.” I say y voice shaking I watch as every signal one of them  nods their heads yes then does the cheesy cross my heart and hope to die thing.

“When I was little and staying at houses and everything my foster dads and brothers would try things with me. They never where able to but I do have some stories and scars that would scare you guys senseless. I really do not trust guys and am afraid of any man over the age of thirty. And you guys broke my trust that is something you may never get back after what I have been through. And in case you guys are wondering why I was in the hospital my dance teacher Mark tried to rape me and Luke got there just in time to stop him.” I say and let out a breathe

All the guys eyes are wide with shock and their faces look like they are at a grave and will not meet my eyes. And they are standing really far away then they were before. “I knew it you are treating me different this is why I did not tell you in the first place.” I yell and slump back in my seat

“We are not thinking different we are thinking of a way to say sorry for what we did and to get back at Nate for how he treated you.” Thayer says

A wicked smile comes to my face and I look up at them “Oh why did you not just say so. And no sorry needed and to get back at Nate I would love to help revenge is my specialty.” I say with my evil grin

“Hmm I think you will make a great addition to our family welcome and we would love the help.” Ian whispers

I see Luke in the corner staying far away from his brothers but almost right next to my chair. While the guys are not looking I put my left hand out and he takes it. I squeeze his hand and see a small smile on his lips.

The guys look up and we quickly pull our hands apart and try to act normal. But that is kind of hard to do in a house full of guys.

“is something going on between you two” Austin asks putting on the big brother role that I thought brothers only do to protect sisters.

I look up from the corner of my eye to see Luke’s face a little red and I am just looking down neither of us saying anything.

“Ok I don’t know what but something is going on and we will find out what. But in the mean time. Nate run and Eve, Luke let’s get this Revenge started. I look up in time to see Nate high tale it out of the game room.

We all got together to plan out our big revenge plan and I have to say it is pretty in genies  and I found out that the guys where serious when they said that I was know  their sister. They said that know any guy even brothers are in danger if they try to hurt me. And I had to laugh at that.

Once they all left I saw Luke still next to me and he walk up to me and pulls me to the door that leads outside.

“Come on we need to talk.” He says

“It’s raining” I say

“So what” he replies

Once out side he pulls me to him and we are pretty much soaked in seconds and he begins to talk.

“I will not screw this up; I am going to take this slow. But just so you know you are mine” Luke says

I stare up into his deep grey green eyes and can’t help but smile knowing he is mine. He returns the looks lovingly. I feel the rain drops hitting my face but I don’t care. He brushes his hand over my face to get the hair away then moves down to my lips and traces his thumb along my bottom lip. I get a smile. He grins stupidly but I have come to love that smile. Leaning down our lips brush against each others just briefly before he pulls me close for our first actual kiss.

I wrap my arms around his neck and pull him close while his arms are around my waist he tries to deepen the kiss by nipping my bottom lips I cautiously let him in. I can hear a small moan of joy escape his mouth as his tongue sweeps over my mouth I return the favor.

We pull away like that after a few minutes and I leans my chin on his shoulder and we just stand in the rain in each other’s arms.

He pulls my head up just a little “Ok know I’m taking his slow” he says his face that stupid grin. And I put my head back on his shoulder and let out a little giggle.
