Chapter 5

Morgan's POV

As Ky drives me to the edge of our territory we sit in silence. She stops at the edge since she knows there's a chance some mean wolfs could be around and attack.

"Thank you for taking care of me today and thanks for driving me home." I smile at her. She blushes and shrugs awkwardly. "It was my pleasure." Just as I was about to open the door I see a flash and then my door opens and I see Ky holding the door for me with a silly grin. "M'lady." She says and bows. I can't help but laugh a lot, this girl is pretty funny when she wants to be, wouldn't mind seeing more of her in the future.

Be careful with what you want, there's always that chance our pack will find out and will hate us even more and they could possibly hurt the vampire girl.

I roll my eyes at my wolf. Gee thanks wolfy like I didn't already know that.

Grrrrr

I turn back to Ky ignoring my wolf. I give her a quick hug and then take off running into the forest.

Ky's POV

As I watch Morgan take off into the woods I can't help but think I want to see more of that girl.

Ugh, now I have to go home and deal with my brother and my mom asking a billion questions. Today can only get worse from here.

As soon as I open the door I'm met with my mothers stern voice.

"Kylie Thomas! Get in the kitchen right now!" My mom yells from the kitchen. I slowly walk towards the kitchen and see my mom sitting at the table with two mugs. I sit quietly and she slides me the cup and I smell it's blood so I immediately start drinking. This could be my last drink so don't judge. My mom looks ready to kill me.

"Where were you." She doesn't so much ask as she commands me to tell her. I drop my head and just tell her the truth since she always knows when I'm lying. "I hit a girl with my car and I had to make sure she was ok and take care of her." Ok not lying but not the whole truth.

My mom looks at me suspiciously. "Did you take her to the hospital?" I duck my head a bit so I don't make I contact. "Not exactly..." My mom glares at me and shakes her head. "I smelled wolf on you when you walked in. You know how dangerous it is to involve yourself with a werewolf!!" She walks out of the room with that.

Nick peeks his head in the room. "Soooo how'd it go with the mutt?" He laughs and leans on the door way.

I snarl at him and flash to him and immediately have my hand around his neck with him pushed into the wall. "Don't call her a mutt." I tell him with the coldest voice. I drop him and speed to my room to escape my family for the night.

I want to see her again...and with that though I fell asleep
