Chapter 2 (Meeting again)

Rain's pov
I pulled down my hood as I walked into the library. I need to get some homework done, I found a table and got to work. I needed a dictionary, Damn it! I got up and went around looking for dictionary. I finally found it yes! Yet I couldn't reach it. What the hell! I looked around no one tall enough to get it. I jumped and tried to get it, still didn't work. God I hate being short. "Need help there?" I heard a familiar voice ask. I looked over and saw James, what? "Yeah..ha yeah I do." I said "Here." He said grabbing the book and handing it to me. I took it, pulling it to my chest. "Thanks." I said smiling up at him. "What are you doing here?" I asked "Just getting some books for school." He said "Same here." I added "Weird meeting you again." He said looking at the selves of books. "What's that suppose to mean?" I asked "I don't know.." He said "You know." I said he chuckled making my heart flutter. "Well I just think your following me." He said "oh no no no no no I think it's the other way around." I said stepping closer to him as he moved down the book case. He crouched down, picking up a book. He scanned through it, than stood up. "Would you like to go for a drink some time?" He asked out of no where I was shocked. I laughed it off "I'm 17, not legal to drink." I said pushing some hair behind my ear. "Than coffee maybe?" He asked "Don't drink coffee." I said I really don't. "Playing hard to get I see..how about this..there's a carnival coming tomorrow how about we go?" He said I made a thinking face, should I go..I barely know the dude. Yolo! "Yeah..sure..My number is.." I said I wrote my number on his hand. "Call me when your ready to pick me up." I said and turned on my heel walking away. I heard him huff, I smirked maybe I should play hard to get. I went back to my table and got to work. My mind kept drifting to James, how his arm flexed when he reached for the book. God was he hot..mhm.

Rain's pov
"Hey J?" I asked as she answered the phone. "This is new Chinese restaurant, how may I take your order?" Justice asked in a Chinese voice. I started laughing "I have a date tomorrow-" I was cut off by her screaming. "Oh my gawd!!! Really!! Is it with that James guy?! He's cute!" She said "Yeah! I need your help! I don't know what to wear!" I said looking through my closet. "I don't know i'll come over and help you." She said "okay see ya soon." I replied than hung up. I waited for her to show up, hopefully we can find me something to wear.
