After I got off the bus I walked back to the house and started doing my homework so I have it done for Monday. I don't know how long Harry and I will be out tonight. Wow, it's already been a week. It's already been a week since I moved here. It doesn't feel like its been that long at all.
I walked through the door and announced my presence but no one answered. My father must be working late tonight and mother, well I don't know half the shi- stuff she does and I really don't want to know. She probably won't be home till Sunday at the earliest. I actually don't care to be honest. I just feel bad for my father because he's stuck with a mess of a wife and he's such a nice guy. He'll probably crack one day and leave her.
I finished my homework early then planned and decided to get ready for my night out with Harry. I looked through my closet but saw nothing besides a cute, white crop top that stops just above my belly button. My cleavage was visible at the top of the shirt but its nothing I should be worried about. I decided to wear Harry's, sisters jeans because they were totally hot and they hugged my legs tightly. For shoes I chose my white convers, they matched the shirt perfectly. Make-up was waterproof mascara and a tiny bit of cover up. I thought I looked really pretty at the moment and that is a rare occasion.
It was about 6 o'clock meaning Harry will be here in about an hour to pick me up. I still didn't know where we were going but I don't think it could be that bad.
Almost exactly an hour later Harry showed up in the usual concert t-shirt and black skinny jeans with black shoes. His hair was sort of messed to perfection and he looked more attractive then when I first met him.
"Where are we going?" I asked as we both got into his car.
"A party." He replied.
"A what?" I began to panic.
"A party?" He repeated confused.
"Like, with alcohol and smoking and stuff?! Harry, I've never been to one of these kinds of party's!" I panicked.
"Don't panic Anna. It's alright! Ill be there with you, I don't drink at parties." He replied. I felt less panicked but not too much.
"But Harry-"
"No you're going. You're in grade eleven and you've never been to a party. That's sad Anna." He laughed.
I knew I wasn't winning this battle so I sat back in my seat and tried to enjoy the ride. I've never been to a high school party. This is a scary time for me. Every minute Harry drove the more anxious I got.
"How long Harry?" I asked for the fifth time anxiously.
"Jesus Anna, like five minutes." He laughed obviously amused by how scared I was.
"So funny Harry. I'm petrified. What if something bad happens? What if you leave me? What if-"
"Stop worrying Anna!" He cut me off.
"I hate you." I mumbled.
"What was that?" He asked.
"Nothing."
"Right." He laughed.
By the time Harry and I stopped bickering back and forth we finally stopped by a house with many cars park on the street. It's now or never. I sighed and got out of the car and scurried over beside Harry as he chuckled. He put his arm around my waist and I did not dare to move. I was still in shock that I'm going to a damn high school party. I knew I'd go to one eventually but I didn't think it'd be a week after I move to a new school.
Harry and I walked into the house and it was crowded with people, some drunk already and some getting there. I kept hearing whistles directed towards me but I knew better then to look. You're not a dog Anna, do not look. Harry grabbed my hand leading me into the kitchen.
