"when did you realize that Leo was involved in the narcotic industry?" the reporter asked . "when he flew to Italy, one of his relatives was sick. I stayed home" I stated. "you had been dating for how long?" she asked. "four years" I said. 

"when will you come back?" I asked as Leo packed his bags. "Tomorrow night" Leo said. "okay" I said. "I have something for you" Leo said. "what is it?" I asked. "when I get back Ill show you " Leo said and smiled. "why do you this?" I asked."You know I hate waiting" I exclaimed. " I know babe, thats why I do it" Leo said and kissed me. "while you're in Italy, Im going to visit my Godfather in Chicago," I said. "all right" Leo said.

"why did Leo have to go to Italy?" Alexa asked as we sat on her couch. "one of his aunts is sick" I said. "why didnt you go?" Alexa asked. "cause its a family issue" I said. "You guys are family, you met everyone, he just needs to ask you to marry him" Alexa said. "I dont think so, we never talk about" I said as I picked up Sydney," when are you due?"I asked. "towards the end of Novemeber," Alexa said. Alexa was expecting her second child, she was having a boy. "whats the name?" I asked. "Kam is choosing it, he hasnt said anything" Alexa said. "watch him choose a really weird name" I said and laughed. "I'd kill him" Alexa said. "lets go down to the station, I wanna see how everyone is doing" I said. 

"hey guys!" I exclaimed as I walked in. "hey guys, how've you been?" Antonio asked. "Ive been great" I said and smiled. "Sydney sucks the life out of me, being pregnant sucks" Alexa said and sat at one of the chairs. "where's  Hank?" I asked. "hes working on a case with Olinksy, the pacific drug cartel is back in business" Antonio informed. "whos the pacific drug cartel?" I asked. "drug cartel that operates in Colombia, The United States, Mexico, and part of Europe. They had been gone for the past years but they recently faced the death of a member so that brought the business up" Antonio explained. "someone who can have control in all those countries must be pretty powerful" I stated. "they are, family run business" Antonio said. "you guys will put an end to it" I said as I saw Hank walk out of his office. "Alexa, Elizett, how have you been?" Hank asked. "I hate being pregnant" Alexa stated. "we've been good" I said. "how long will you be staying in chicago?" Hank asked. "two days, Leo went to Italy, one of his aunts is sick" I said. "welcome to stay for a while, we're going to go over a few facts on the case" Hank said as he pointed to the white board. 

"We know this is a family run business, Patriarchal, Ruzek is with a suspect, if we can get a last name we can narrow it down and track them. We cannot let them associate with the Mexican drug cartels, then they will be too powerful to track down" Hank said. 

"we have a lead on the family" Ruzek said as he walked in. "whats the last name?" Hank asked. " Varmeni" Ruzek said. "run the name through the system" Hank said to Erin. "we got a lead here in chicago, traced back to a man named Henry Varmeni, he passed away fifteen years ago" Erin said. "trace his family" Hank ordered. "Nothing, either his family changed his name or he never had kids" Erin said," wait some birth certificates came up. He had six kids, five girls and one boy. Nelli, Beatrice, Florence, Isabelle, Caroline are the daughters and the son's name is Valentino" Erin said as she read off the names. "whats the wife's name?" Hank asked. "June" Erin said. "How old would his kids be?" Hank asked. "Valentino would be around fifty, the others are older" Erin said. "trace those names, find a family tree" Hank ordered," I wont stop until I find out who's in charge of this"

"okay, I want you to wait here" Leo said as we stood on top of the roof. "okay" I said and smiled. "Close your eyes" Leo shouted. I closed my eyes and waited. "Okay open them" Leo said. I slowly opened them and saw saw Leo on one knee with a ring in his hand. "Elizett, before I met you the sun was like a yellow grape" Leo said and smiled. "you gotta stop stealing quotes from shows" I said and laughed. "will you marry me?" Leo asked. "yes" I said and smiled as Leo slid the ring on my finger. "you've made me the happiest man alive" Leo exclaimed as he hugged me. 

"before we carry on with this I have to tell you something" Leo said as we walked down the stairs. "what is it?" I asked. "if you no longer want to me marry me after this, I understand but I have to be honest with you" Leo said. "Leonardo, what are you hiding from me?" I asked," do you have a kid?" I asked. "no, it has to do with my family" Leo said. "okay" I said and waited for Leo to talk. "my dad doesnt own a winery, well he does but thats just his cover" Leo started,"my dad is the owner of the pacific drug cartel" Leo said. "what?" I asked,"no that cant be, theyre last name is Varmeni not Loretta" I said. "my grandfather Henry Varmeni, founded the cartel, when he had kids he decided to change their last names to Loretta, which was my grandmothers last name, June Loretta. My dad took over for my grandfather, being the only son and everything. When I turned nineteen my father had a heart attack, when he recovered he decided it was time for me to learn about the family business, the flowing year I brought in Wesley as my right hand man, I have been leading the cartel for the past three years" Leo explained. "you're the leader of a drug cartel, you kill people!" I shouted. "no, El, I've never killed anybody" Leo said as he grabbed my hand. "dont touch me, you're a fucking criminal, my godfather is looking for you!" I shouted. "El you have to understand I had no choice, I was born into this business, just like my dad" Leo said. "I cant handle this" I cried and walked out the door. 

"My fiancé, is a drug lord," I whispered as I sat on the roof. "Elizett, you have to understand me, I didnt choose this life" Leo said," you can break off the engagement if you want, I'll understand" Leo said. "this is just so hard for me" I whispered," I have to think this over" I said and got up ," I need time" I said and took off the ring and walked back down the stairs and out to the parking lot, I got in my car and drove off to Elliott's house, I needed time to think this over.
