**A week later**
//Erin's POV// 

"this case, how can someone take over continents but still maintain their identity a secret?" I asked as I shuffled through the papers. "look up Harold Calvillo" Jay suggested as I searched up his name on the computer. "Thats weird" I said and I looked through his files. "anything that could help us?" Jay asked. "No," I sighed. "Ill be back, I got a message from Adam" Jay said and walked off. 

"wait a second" I whispered as a name stood out. "Wesley Arseti" I read,"could he be the new leader?" I asked as I searched his name. "whos Leonardo?" I asked as that name kept popping up through his caller history. "whats his last name?" I asked. "Erin?" Elizet asked as she walked in inturrpting my thoughts. "Elizet, what brings you here?" I asked. "did i scare you? Im sorry" Elizet said and sat down next to me," what are you looking for?" she asked. "I found the leader of the drug cartel" I said. 

//El's POV// 

"I think I found the leader of the drug cartel" Erin said and I felt the blood run cold. "who?" I asked. "Wesley Arseti" Erin said. "Wesley?" I asked. "yeah, I have to get a full profile on him before I tell Voigt" Erin said. "I gotta go, but ill see you soon. I also wanted to invite you my house next week for dinner, its a small gathering" I said and stood up. "of course, ill be there" Erin said and smiled," Ill see you soon" she said. "all right, well I gotta go." I said and walked out. 

As soon as I got in my car I called Leo. 

"Leo, they know who Wesley is, you have to warn him and tell him to lay low. Im going to go visit Carter today" 

"who found out?" 

"Erin" 

"all right, heres what we're gonna do. Youre gonna go have to go convenience Erin not to tell Voigt, you have to do it Elizet, its for our own safety" 

"Ill do it, I'll keep you updated"

After I hung up i grabbed my car keys and got into my car. I had to tell Carter what was going on.  

"El, hey I didnt expect you, come on in" Cater said. As she took a step back I saw Mika run past. "Hi Mika" i said and picked him up," how are you" I said and smiled. 

"do you want something to drink?" Carter asked. "No thank you, I came to talk to you about something" I said as we took a seat on her couch. "what is it?" Carter asked. "Have you talked to Wesley today?" I asked. "No, we usually talk in the afternoon, whats wrong?" Carter asked. "They know who Wesley is, Erin, she works for my Godfather, he works for the Chicago Police" I explained. "wait a second, your godfather is a cop?" Carter asked. "he's the squad commander of Intelligence unit" I stated."your husband is leader of a drug cartel and your godfather is trying to capture him" Carter exclaimed and stood up," you have got to be kidding me" she shouted. "I told Leo, Wesley is going to lay low for a while. You should do the same, anything could happen" I said. "Ohmygod,this cant be happening" Carter whispered and picked up her phone and dialed Wesley's number. "he's not answering" she whispered. I could see the fear in her eyes. I was about to say something when the door burst open. "Carter we have to go, now" Wesley shouted as he walked in. "Elizet, Leo is back at your house, he needs to talk to you . Tell him I will call him when we arrive to the destination" Wesley explained and picked up Mika. "Good luck, Ill see you guys soon" I said and hugged Carter before walking out. 

I quickly got in my car and drove off. I knew that before going to my house I had to talk to Erin, if she passed on Wesley's name to Hank everything would be exposed. 

I quickly walked into the station making sure to slip in unnoticed. 

//Erin's POV// 

"Leonardo, who's Leonardo and how are they linked" I asked as I looked through the files. "okay I found a birth certificate. Varmeni, is his last name, Leonardo Varmeni...he has the same last name we're looking for. There has to be a family tree" I said and started looking through more files.  "thats not his real name " I read," Loretta. Their last name is Loretta. He's the grandson of Henry Varmeni, his father is Valentino Loretta. He's the leader, Leonardo Loretta is the leader of the pacific drug cartel" I whispered," wait, Loretta...Loretta..." I repeated as I began shuffling through my papers and found Elizet's wedding invitation. I opened it and looked at the names. "Elizet Marquez and Leonardo Loretta  request the pleasure of your company at the celebration of their union" I read and felt as my blood ran cold. "Elizet's husband is a drug lord" I whispered. "Erin" Elizet said and interrupted my thoughts. "Elizet" I said and dropped the invitation. "we need to talk," ELizet said and looked around," In private." she said. "sure, where do you wanna go?" I asked. "My apartment" Elizet said. I nodded and we proceeded to walk out and to her car.  

"what did you wanna talk about?" I asked. "you know dont you?" Elizet asked as we sat at her dinner table. "know what?' I asked. "Erin, youre not stupid, so please dont act like you are" Elizet exclaimed. "Okay, I know that your husband is leader of the pacific drug cartel" I said. "dont tell Hank" Elizet said. "Elizet, I have to, this is my job" I stated and stood up. "and he's my husband" Elizet shouted. "Hank is your godfather" I said. " I know, which is why this is even harder on me. Im torn between the man who was like a father to me and the love of my life" Elizet shouted," please Erin dont do it for me. Don't rob a child of the chance of being with his father" Elizet said. "what do you mean?" I asked. "Im pregnant"  Elizet said," if Leo goes to jail he'll never meet his child. You throw him in jail you'll be robbing Wesley's son of a father. Do you really wanna do that?" Elizet asked. "This is my job" I said. "Erin please dont do this to us. Dont give out Leo's or Wesley's name. If they go down, we all do." Elizet said. I took a deep breath and look at my phone. I had a missed call from Hank. "You dont have to worry, I wont say anything. Your family will stay safe" I said. "thank you so much, I promise you nobody will know of this" Elizet said and hugged me. "I have to go, but I'll see you around" I said and hugged Elizet before walking out. 

//Leo's POV// 

"you really think she can keep a secret?" I asked. "yes" Elizet said," she's had her own battles she understands" Elizet said," I have to go talk to Carter" Elizet said and walked off. 

"Elizet may trust her, but ive learned that in this life there's other ways to keep a person silent. I know which methods are effective " I whispered and pulled out my gun," take it to the grave"
