Chapter 5

Nightwalker was still laughing at Triston who was on the floor with a confused and surprised look on his face. "Ahem. Is Naoko~Chan interrupting something?" Asked Naoko~Chan. "N-no." Triston said as he was getting up. "Good then Triston~Kun could you leave so I can talk to uh, Naoko~Chan doesn't know your name." Said Naoko~Chan "Nightwalker is what people call me." Said Nightwalker. "Well can Naoko~Chan talk to Nightwalker~Sama alone?" Asked Naoko~Chan. "Sure." Said Triston and Nightwalker at the same time. Triston walked down the stairs and out into the village to do his patrol. "So Nightwalker~Sama are you a cat girl?" Asked Naoko~Chan. "No, why do you ask Naoko~Chan?" Said Nightwalker a little confused. "No reason. Now can you walk, because Valkyrie~Senpai would like to see you." Enquired Naoko~Chan. "Um I don't know. I haven't tried since I just woke up ten minutes ago. But I will try." Said Nightwalker calmly and slowly got up. Then walked over to Naoko~Chan as if she had never been asleep. Someone must have healed my arm because I can't feel any pain from it. "Great now we can go see Valkyrie~Senpai." Said Naoko~Chan cheerfully.

After Naoko~Chan had brought Nightwalker to Lady Valkyrie's house she left. Nightwalker knocked on the door and a woman with Amber eyes and Raven black hair opened the door. "You must be Nightwalker. My name is Valkyrie and I am the lord of this village. Please come in and sit down." Said Valkyrie. "So Lady Valkyrie why have you invited me to your home?" Asked Nightwalker. "WellIwaswonderingifyouwouldliketostayhereinFirestormandbecomeaguard? Asked Valkyrie very quickly. "Uh could you repeat that just a little slower." Said Nightwalker. "Ok. Well I was wondering if you would like to stay in Firestorm and become a guard? She asked. "SHUT THE FRONT DOOR! This is Firestorm! I heard from someone on my travels that this village hated the high priest of Kírn. Is that true?" Nightwalker said excitedly. "Yes we do hate Drachen and all of Kírn for that matter." Said Valkyrie calmly. "Wait does Drachen have one blue eye and the other covered by his blood red hair and wear a mask?" Asked Nightwalker. "That's him to a t, why do you ask?" Said with a sound concern in her voice. "Lady Valkyrie do you trust me?" Asked Nightwalker. Valkyrie nodded her head to say yes. "Give me your hand. And I will show you why I hate the high priest." Valkyrie reluctantly gave Nightwalker her hand and Nightwalker said " This might be a bit weird but I don't like showing people my face so." She took Valkyrie's hand and moved it towards her face and moved her hand along the scar on face, she only let Valkyrie touch her chin, she quickly let Valkyrie's had go after the look on her face dropped. "Is-is this a scar?" Asked Valkyrie. "Yes, and now I'm going to shock you even more that scar goes down the whole left side of my face. Drachen barely missed my eye with the blade." Said Nightwalker.
"Is that the reason you cover you face with that hood?" Asked Valkyrie. "No I cover my face for a completely different reason. But I'd rather not tell that reason." Said Nightwalker with a calm tone in her voice. "That's quite alright. I don't mind you not telling me if it bothers you that much. But back to original question, so how about it?" Asked Valkyrie. "I would love to be a guard here in Firestorm. Where will I be staying?" Asked Nightwalker
"Oh I'll have to make you a room in guard tower. I'll just make an extension to the bottom floor." Said Valkyrie cheerfully. " Now if you need me I'll be on your roof. Said Nightwalker. She then got up to walk out the door when Valkyrie said "Wait why are you going to be on my roof?" "I'll be meditating." Said Nightwalker. Valkyrie followed Nightwalker out the door and watched as Nightwalker moved away from Valkyrie's house and turned back to it and started running then she jumped the started running up the wall until she was on the roof. Valkyrie just stud there I shock of what she had just witnessed. Valkyrie paused for a moment then clapped. Nightwalker walker away from the edge of the roof and sat down and began to meditate. The little clearing she had set up camp at was the only thing she could think about. Why can't I get that place out of my head. Just then Nightwalker started to feel a buzz coming from her stomach. I'm getting really hungry now better get up and go get food. Nightwalker opened her eyes to see the little clearing that she had set up camp in. What?!? How did I get here? Wait wait okay calm down. Let's just do whatever I was doing that made me get here. So I was meditating and I couldn't get this place off my mind so maybe if I concentrate really hard on Valkyrie's roof I can get there. Nightwalker jumped to the nearest tree and sat on one of the branches and started to concentrate on Valkyrie's roof. Nightwalker felt the buzz in her stomach again so she concentrated harder on Valkyrie's roof. After two minutes of concentrating she opened her eyes and she was on Valkyrie's roof. She began to meditate again but this time she was training her mind taking in all the smells and sounds. Someone's watching me. Nightwalker had a sixth sense where she could tell if people were watching her. She can sense ki and aura. What am I sensing it's good but not pure. But where is it? Nightwalker stud up and unsheathed her katana from her back. She saw someone out of the corner of her eye. She flipped over her opponent and pinned them to the ground. "Who are you and what do you think your doing?" Said Nightwalker loudly. "My name is Brendan I saw you on the roof and curiosity got the better of me." Said Brendan with a scared tone in his voice. Nightwalker got off of Brendan and sheathed her katana and held out her hand. "I'm sorry about that my name is Nightwalker. Brendan shook her hand and said. "Nice to meet you Nightwalker." Brendan had a huge grin on his face. They both got off Valkyrie's roof and Brendan walked home and Nightwalker decided to have a wonder around the village. If I'm gonna be a guard better introduce myself to the other guards. Nightwalker walked down the village taking in how beautiful this village is. Is that a guard over there? Oh it is I will go introduce myself. Nightwalker walked over to the guard and said "Hello."  The guard turned around to Nightwalker standing in front of him and was given a fright by her appearance. He then held his sword to her neck. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." Said Nightwalker calmly. "What is your name?" Said the guard. "Take the sword away from my neck and I'll tell you." Said Nightwalker. The guard reluctantly moved his sword away. Nightwalker stuck out her hand for the guard to shake. "My name is Nightwalker. And you are?" The guard sheathed guys sword and shook Nightwalker's hand and said "My name is Dale nice to meet you Nightwalker. Now tell me are you the legendary assassin Nightwalker? Asked Dale. "Hehe yeah that's me." Said Nightwalker. "Wow. We've got a famous person in the village. So what brings to Firestorm its not work is it? Dale said with his left eyebrow raised. "Well actually I've been looking for this village ever since I had herd of it. But I wanted to know if the rumours were true, about this entire village hating Drachen. And after talking to Lady Valkyrie she told me that was true, she then asked me if I wanted to stay and become a guard. And I said yes. So technically you could say I'm here to work." Said Nightwalker. Dale soon had a huge smile on his face. "Well then would you like me to show you around? He asked. "Sure just don't try anything." Joked Nightwalker. "Oh don't worry I'm married." Said Dale. "Dale I was joking." Said Nightwalker. "Oh well I feel silly now." They both laughed. The first house Dale brought Nightwalker to looked like pink vomited everywhere. "This place is very um pink." Said Nightwalker. "Hehe yeah that's Naoko~Chan for ya." Dale said rubbing his neck. "Oh this is Naoko~Chan's house. She is the one who brought me to see Valkyrie. Dale can I see her alone." Asked Nightwalker. "Sure my wife is probably wondering why I'm not home yet." Said Dale and then he started walking home. Nightwalker knocked on the door of Naoko~Chan's house. "Stay away! Evil person!" Shouted Naoko~Chan from inside the house. "Naoko~Chan it's me Nightwalker!" Nightwalker Shouted. The was a sound of someone scurrying up stairs and then Naoko~Chan opened the door. "Nightwalker-Sama come in. Naoko~Chan was just downstairs when she felt an evil magic power but now it feels like a good magic power." Said Naoko~Chan. "Naoko~Chan are you a magic user?" Asked Nightwalker. "Yes Naoko~Chan user animation magics and healing magics. Naoko~Chan is actually the one who healed Nightwalker~Sama's arm." Said Naoko~Chan with a huge grin on her face. "I didn't know that you healed my arm thank you. Now Naoko~Chan can you try sensing the magics again." Asked Nightwalker "I don't know why you would want Naoko~Chan to do that but ok." Naoko~Chan said and then she closed her eyes and started flicking her tail. She gasped. "OH MY IRENE! NIGHTWALKER~SAMA YOU HAVE MAGIC." Shouted Kawaii~Chan. "Naoko~Chan calm down I only found out about this today. But I wanted to tell you because I felt like I could trust you. Another thing I'm going to try something with my magic. So just take my hand." She said with a serious tone.
Naoko~Chan took Nightwalker's hand a Nightwalker closed her eyes and thought about Valkyrie's roof again. Oh my Mairéad. Said Naoko~Chan sounding quite shocked. Nightwalker opened her eyes and said "YES! I CAN TELEPORT OTHER PEOPLE! Shouted Nightwalker. WHAT IS GOING ON UP THERE I THOUGHT YOU SAID YOU WERE MEDITATING?!? Came a voice from the ground. Naoko~Chan was still shocked after what had just happened. So Nightwalker decided to see who was shouting. She peered over the edge of the roof to see a frustrated Valkyrie. "Oh Hello m'lord. I was just talking to Naoko~Chan." Said Nightwalker. She then jumped off the roof and landed perfectly. "What do you mean talking to Naoko~Chan there is no way she could get up Th- she got cut off by Naoko~Chan saying. "Nightwalker~Sama you should show Valkyrie~Senpai the thing you showed me." Nightwalker put her hand on Valkyrie's shoulder and though about Valkyrie's roof. And before Valkyrie could say Naoko~Chan how did you get up there? She was up there with her. "HOW IN THE NAME OF MAIRÉAD DID I GET UP HERE!" Shouted Valkyrie. "I teleported you up here." Said Nightwalker calmly. "With an teleportation orb?" Asked Valkyrie."Valkyrie~Senpai, Nightwalker~Sama has magics." Said Naoko~Chan. "OH MY MAIRÉAD WHEN DID YOU FIND OUT?" Shouted Valkyrie. "I found out today, while I was meditating actually hehe." Said Nightwalker. "M'lord I am going to assume that you haven't built my room in the guard tower yet so may I stay with you?" Asked Nightwalker " Oh my Irene I'm so sorry I forgot. Sure you can stay in my spare room downstairs. Now can you get us down?" Said Valkyrie. "Oh yeah I forgot we were up here. Hehe. I'll try do you want me to take Naoko~Chan down first?" Asked Nightwalker. "Uh yeah Naoko~Chan you go first." Said Valkyrie. Nightwalker turned around to Naoko~Chan and said "May I?" "Sure?" Said Naoko~Chan not quite sure what she was about to do. Nightwalker picked up Naoko~Chan bridal style bad jumped off the roof. And when they landed she put Naoko~Chan down. "It's getting dark you get your butt home Naoko~Chan. Nightwalker joked. "Naoko~Chan will be leaving now bye Valkyrie~Senpai. Bye Nightwalker~Sama." Said Kawaii~Chan and she started walking home. Nightwalker then got back onto the roof and did the same with Valkyrie
