It had been weeks since the two males had seen each other, along with even speaking to one another. Texts, calls, cute voicemails to leave one another so the other would wake up to - all of it had ended as it has been weeks since the two had broken up. And Yuu wasn't expecting to hear his phone ringing and see Yoichi's name. He had to admit, he had missed the other. Nearly everything about the adorable brunette - his voice, his big eyes, his laugh, the way he would scratch his cheek when nervous, pretty much everything about him. He didn't waste a second on answering the call nor let the possibility of it going to voicemail.

"So uh.. I saw your call." Yoichi said, getting straight to the point.

Shit. Yuu nearly forgotten about the stupid voicemail he had left Yoichi a couple nights ago. He had been, well, somewhat tipsy the night he left it as he went drinking with Shinoa and happened to see the brunette upload a photo onto Instagram of him with Shiho. And well, it had upset the raven-haired male and once arriving home in his somewhat intoxicated state decided to call Yoichi up even if it was 2 AM.

"I know we weren't together for long or anything but seeing that photo you posted with the stupid telephone pole literally felt like you carved my heart out and stomped on it. I'm not really sure why I'm leaving this voicemail but my pillow still smells like you and I miss your stupid face because I'm maybe, kinda, sorta still in love with you, idiot.."

"Did you.. Did you really mean it?" Yuu could practically hear Yoichi's voice crack when saying that, meaning he was pretty much close to crying. He was silent for a few moments before he answered, unsure if he should tell the truth or just say he was drunk when leaving that voicemail but.. But he was really missing the latter.

"Yeah." He attempted to say as casually as he could but he would be lying if he said he wasn't anxious or anything because this call was just filling him up with anxiety. Did Yoichi not feel the same? Did Yoichi manage to get over this and move on? Did Yoichi only have feelings for Shiho now? What if scenarios just kept popping up in the raven-haired male's head as he with tense and waiting for some sort of answer from the brunette. "I.. I miss you, Yoichi. I can't stand the thought of you moving on without me and being with somebody else." He admitted, his body trembling as he was trying not to cry as it really wasn't like him to do that. "I still love you." With what felt like hours of silence, he had thought the mentioned male had ended the phone call at some point and now Yuu was just speaking to nobody. But he was proven wrong when he could now hear the cries of the brunette on the other side.

"I.. I still love you too, Yuu." Yoichi confessed. "I'm sorry, Yuu... s-so sorry.." He kept mumbling on about how sorry he was for the day when they did break but those apologies were drowned out by the words that returned Yuu's feelings that just kept repeating in his head. He let out a laugh, not realizing the tears that were threatening to fall from his emerald green eyes were now racing down his cheeks. But they weren't tears of sadness or grief, instead they were tears of relief and happiness.

"T-That's great, Yoichi." Yuu said, stuttering only because of his crying state. Taking a few deep yet shaky breaths to calm himself down, he lifted a hand to his face and wiped the tears away. "Hey Yoichi?"

"Y-Yeah?"

"I really do love you, Yoichi."

"I love you too, Yuu."
