Mayhem Time + Time for a Perfect Argument

I was laying on my bed in my room, staring up at the ceiling. I sighed while touching the thing that was around my neck, the necklace Kai gave me. I decided to wear it everyday.

"I forgot everything that happens next... It's like ever since I came here, I've been slowly forgetting what actually happened in the manga, without me." I sighed to myself.

"It's a side effect." I heard Kai's voice.

I sat up on my bed, looking around for him. I spotted him next to my door. "K-Kai? What did I tell you about intruding!" I angrily glared at him.

He shrugged, "Meh. It's not like you were changing or anything."

I sighed, "Yeah yeah. Whatever. Wait... What do you mean by side effect?"

He took a few steps closer, "It's just, when you get sent to the manga, anime, or whatever, you slowly forget some moments, so you can experience everything better."

I raised both eyebrows in slight shock, "Hmm, that's pretty nice, I guess. So you don't know the future, it's just like you are actually part of it." I pondered a bit, then snapped my fingers, which grabbed Kai's attention. "Hey, Kai... Did you umm... Ever l-like someone?" I held myself back from blushing.

He seemed to think for a bit, "Not really," he shrugged, "all the girls I was sent to their anime with, never really liked them or whatever." He began smirking, "But... There was a girl I was interested in... In fact, I'm still interested in her."

My heart sort of sank at what he said. "Really? W-what was she like..." I said with a sad smile.

He chuckled a bit, "Well, she was rude, aggressive, pretty short-tempered, some would call her a Tsundere or whatever."

I frowned, "How could you like a girl like that? She seems really dumb."

He laughed a bit, "Well, true. But, she was caring, cute, funny, most people really like her."

"Ehh? She sounds pretty nice then..." I looked down sadly.

"Mmm, yeah. I like her-- rather, I love her, I guess you could say."

I flinched at that, and gave him a sad smile, "Wow, I wish I could find a nice guy..." I muttered.

He chuckled, "With the way you are, I doubt you'll ever find anyone."

I became annoyed at his comment, "Well, the way you are, I bet that girl never and will never like you!"

When I finished that sentence, there was a loud distant explosion, which shook the ground a bit. My eyes widened as I headed to my window, looking for where it came from.

I heard my phone ringing, and I picked it up. "Naomi-chan! Did you hear that?!" I heard Rio yell into the phone.

"Yeah! What could-- Oh no..." I trailed off. "Rio-chan, school!" I yelled, then hung up. "Crap... I.. I completely... Forgot..." I felt nervous and shaky. I grabbed my coat, and grabbed Kai's hand running outside the house.

Along the way, I got a text message from Karasuma-sensei saying to stay home, but it was too late for that. I also got a text message from others saying to meet outside the school, where everyone else would be.

"I am not emotionally ready." I muttered under my breath.

Once we reached where everyone else was, we saw they were already trying to reach Koro-sensei's cellphone, and asking Ritsu to give information. Ritsu said that she couldn't find anything on what was happening, but I vaguely remembered.
