We arrived at the rodeo grounds and set up the trailer and put the horses in stalls. We would be here all week, so might as well get settled.
We were all just relaxing in my trailer before the rodeo started tomorrow.
"Caleb, bulls or broncs this time?" Ty asked.
"Bulls" he said.
"I remember my bull riding days" Ty joked.
"Ya not bad for your first time, maybe we should get you back out on the circuit" caleb teased.
"NO. You don't need to impress me again!" Amy said with wide eyes.
I just laughed. Yup i heard the story of Ty bull riding, that was an interesting one.
"But you know, Alexis beat your time by, a lot" Caleb smirked.
Oh god.
"Really?" Ty crossed his arms playfully.
"10 seconds, beat that" I laughed.
"Wait seriously!" Amy asked.
Caleb ad i nodded.
"No way" she smiled and gave me a thumbs up.
"Oh Alexis, i forgot to give you your present for your birthday, here follow me, Its in the truck" Caleb said and lifted me up and carried me to the truck.
I was honestly confused.
"You know i can walk right?" I asked.
"I know, but you don't have shoes on and i didn't want to wait thirty seconds for you to put them on" he shrugged as he set me on the tailgate.
He opened the passenger door and got something out of the compartment and came back with it.
It was a little black box. He popped it open, it was a ring.
"Its a promise ring" he smiled.
"And what exactly are you promising?" I asked.
"I don't know, but i love you and thats all i really know" he flashed a lopsided smile, making me laugh.
He slid it on to my right ring finger and held my hand.
"Don't you need one too cowboy?" I asked.
"Already one step ahead of you" he laughed as he handed me a black box.
I slid the ring on his finger and smiled.
I cupped his face in my hands and gave him a kiss.
"We should probably get back inside before they think something else is going on" he laughed.
"Let em talk" i shrugged and he smiled.
His lips found mine again and time stopped, and nothing else existed.
