Month 6 of pregnancy
"Hey Lou" I smiled as i walked into the kitchen.
"Hey, how's it going?" she asked.
"Good, just going in for an ultra sound" I shrugged as i sat down.
"No wonder your up early" she laughed.
"Well I would still be sleeping if it weren't for Mr.get-up-because-i-want-to-see-what-we-are-having" I quoted.
Lou laughed as i slipped on my flip flops.
"Flip flops, great choice, its struggle with laces" she nodded.
"Tell me about it" i sighed with a smile.
I hopped into the car, in which caleb was already waiting in.
"Ready?" He asked.
I nodded.
We drove to the doctors office and waited for a while.
Soon we started the ultra sound.
"So, today is the first big day" the doctor smiled. "Telling the gender"
We nodded.
"And from the looks of the ultra sound it looks like..." She paused.
"A baby Girl" she smiled.

We got home and i headed for the stables.
"Where are you going?" Caleb asked with a laugh.
"To the barn, where else?" I asked.
"You can't ride" he warned.
"Of course i can, at a walk" I shrugged and kept going.
He caught up with me.
"Fine, but I'm going with you" he smiled.
"Whatever" i shook my head and got Spirit out of his stall.
I brushed him down before putting the saddle pad on him and caleb insisted that i din't touch the saddle until i get on.
"God, Your crazy" he laughed as he shook his head and helped me into the saddle.
We rode out to the river and sat on the dock.
I gazed at the glistening water and then up at the Canadian-summer sky.
When i turned back to Caleb he wasn't next to me.
"Caleb?" I called.
I stood up and turned to find him with the horses.
I walked over to him and smiled.
"Here, I got this for you but i forgot to give it to you on your birthday" he laughed and handed my a very small bag.
I opened it and found a bridle charm. It had a turquoise stone, a white stone, another turquoise stone, and the charm at the very bottom was a metal feather. Another thing was hooked on the charm. I dropped the bridle charm in shock.
"Oh my god" I smiled nervously.
Caleb bent over and picked it up, and got on one knee.
"Alexis Christy Fleming, will you marry me?" He smiled.
I smiled even bigger and threw myself at him.
"Yes" I laughed.
He shook his head and smiled. Then leaned down and kissed me.
"God, i love you" he smirked.
