High school is normal for me, or at least it was normal. Normal up until I actually met the guy who kept texting me. Who would've thought he could read my mind.

Chapter 1

I looked out the window and opened the door to my car. My phone buzzed from my purse. I closed the door and picked up my phone.

See you at school, Savannah.

The text read and I smiled at it.

I have had this secret admirer ever sense I moved to Florida. I went to middle school and they somehow got my phone number, they texted me ever sense. We just found out that we're going to the same high school. We have second, third, and sixth period together.

I texted him back.

See ya in class, Cody

I then turning off my phone and returning it to my purse. I had a few minutes until school started so I sat down at a table in the auditorium. My phone buzzed again.

Hey! Forward this to 15 people and your biggest dream will come true!

No send backs

You will either see something you have wanted to see or do something you have wanted to do. If you do not forward this in the next 24 hours your greatest nightmare will come true. Don't waist another minute reading this,
FORWARD IT NOW!

It was from Cody, being me I didn't believe in stupid text chains like this one. Instead I texted Cody back,

You know I don't believe in those stupid chains.

And with that I deleted the text. The bell rang for school to begin. I promise you when you are eager for something to happen, it takes forever. Usually I never get time to finish my assignments in reading, how am I supposed to read 10 paragraphs and write a 500 word essay on those ten paragraphs in 20 minutes?!? Of course we get day-to-day to work on it but I still think it's stupid.

It seemed like 20 hours until class was over and second period begun. I have to admit, it was hard to sit still. I couldn't help but move around in my chair examining the room for my mystery texter.

I saw one cute blonde boy. He had a nice beach boy look, the usual Floridian way. Maybe he was Cody. He looked sorta like a Cody, he was too still and quite, he can't be Cody.

"Savannah." Mrs.Vergice called motioning for me to come up to her desk. I quickly set down my pencil and walked up to the front of the room where she waited in her chair.

"You currently have no missing assignments in this class, and because this is writing I would usually just tell you to write poems. Instead I'm giving a more upperclass assignment to work on." She looked at me and I swear she could see my soul. She sent a chill down my spine.

"Do this." She commanded sliding me a packet across her desk. I stifled my annoyance and stormed back to my desk snatching my pencil from the crease in my desk.

"Now class." Mrs.Vergice called walking to the front of the board. I tuned her out and began reading my assignment.

"Begin to pack up your essentials for next class, you have two minutes." Is all I heard her announce, I quickly gathered my books for next class.

As I got to my locker I heard a bold voice call my name.

"Savannah, right?" It called, almost like a dream.
