The hospital

Chapter 13

I watched as my Dad got hoisted away. I sat down in the waiting room.

But something wasn't right.

My stomach tightened making me feel nauseous and tired.

"Savannah." Hunters voice called. I looked and plopped in the chair beside me, was Hunter. His face looked worried.

"Are you okay?" He asked. I couldn't reply. I wanted to but I didn't know. And even if I did I couldn't answer because of how close he was and how cute he was.

"Savannah?" He asked again.

My head started hurting. I couldn't see anything but grey shades. I reached out my hand to touch his face but couldn't reach it.

I blinked. Then I saw something.

I'm back at the house. Dads here. He bolts to the kitchen, grabs something from the cabinet then admires it. It's a container with something white in it. I walk closer to it trying to figure out what it is.

Dad runs by me and sits on the couch opening the container and putting a pill in his hand.

Dad doesn't take medicine.

He ate it. Put 3 more in his hand and ate them too. He ate one more before falling on the couch the container rolled under the couch.

I opened my eyes gasping for air.

"Savannah what the fuck." Hunter cried standing up and putting his hand on my back.

"Seriously, are you okay?"

"I just saw something."

"What was it?"

Just then Nick came out from the hallway. He eyed Hunter then returned his gaze to me. He was serious.

"The lady told me I couldn't stay in the room any longer and that I had to come out." Nick explained.

"Savannah started getting all whack. She reached out then fell back in her chair. As soon as I realized she could be hurt she got up coughing and breathing heavy. She said she saw something."

"Savannah, what did you see?"

"Dad............"

The words hung with silence as I failed to complete my sentence. Nick sat me down and sat next to me Hunter stood in silence.

"Savannah. I need you to tell me everything you saw. No lies, I need every detail." Nicky voice stayed calm.

"Dad grabbed pills from the cabinet and ate about 5 of them on the couch before blacking out or something and dropping the container which rolled under the couch."

Nick stayed silent.

My heart hurt. My everything hurt. Yet just then I got this suddenly wonder.

Where are Garrett and Cody?

Just then a Lady walked out with a clipboard and headed to us.

"Family of,-"

"Yes he's my Dad, is he okay?" I asked urgently.

"Come with me." She took us into a room. I flipped the light switch and sat down, rushed.

"Your father took a dangerous amount of pills. He is breathing but isnt going to make it. He needed immediate attention and waited several Hours before we got to him. I am truly sorry. I am allowed to take you to him if you wish to see him."

Hunter, Nick, and I all went into his room. His eyes opened slightly.

"Dad!" I cried racing to his side. "Are you okay?"

"Sweetie. I'm fighting death. I dont think I could win forever."

"Dad!" I cried. "No, you have to live!"

Hunter put a hand on my shoulder. "Let him Go." Nick knelt at Dad's side.

"You taught me to grow and learn. Then let me go out to do something with it. You let Mom Go. You let us Go. I need to return the favor.

"But please, try to live. Try. You have so much to live for. So much that loves you. Just try. And if you fail, we will Miss you, and we Love you." I swallowed hard. Choked myself to not cry as a nurse led us out.

As soon as we excited the room, i cried. I bawled and bawled letting out every tear in my body. Hunter held me in his lap in the waiting room. I cried as he hugged me.
