What are you doing?

Chapter 11

"So......" Cody started awkwardly "are you hungry?"

"No I had chicken at Niki's." I replied.

"Oh yeah." He glanced at me then dragged his eyes back to the road. "I should've known that from reading your mind."

"It's okay. You forgot." I assured gently touching his shoulder. He smiled at me.

Just then Niki texted me.

Hey. I broke up with Hunter. I want to talk to you.

Shocked, I texted back.

Okay. Is everything alright?

She replied.

Yes everything is fine. I just need you to talk to.

Without hesitation I texted back.

I'll be there right away.

"Turn around." I commanded Cody. Who did as told. He pulled over.

"What's wrong?"

"It's a friend Emergancy. Drive me to that street where you picked me up. I'll direct you from there."

"I know where Niki lives." He stated, acting cocky like I was supposed to be aware of that. "Okay." I replied respectfully to the person driving me. But my mind screamed at his cocky ass.

Five minutes later

"We're here." He stated as we pulled into her driveway. "Not being curious but.. How do you know where she lives?"

"Her mom used to tutor me."

"But I thought you had good grades."

"How do you think I got them?"

"I dunno."

He chuckled "her mom."

I just nodded and exited the car. To my surprise Cody followed me in. I opened the door, Niki rushed over to me snatching me and throwing me on a chair.

"Stay still." She commanded as she wrapped my wrists together with rope. "What the hell are you doing?"

"Just... Trust me."

Trust was something I always did with Niki. I nodded and allowed her to tie me down to the chair. She wrapped my belly tight my back squeezed tightly to the chair, my feet roped to the legs of the chair.

She duck taped my mouth and brought the duck tape around my head securing it to my face.

"What are you doing?" I asked again but there was no way she could understand my muffled words.

"Stay still!" She squealed before pushing the chair against the wall and slamming the door shut, locking it. The lights were off. I heard her murmuring in the kitchen as she banged through drawers clanging the things inside.

A flashlight shone in my face blinding me. I turned my head away. "Owe! What the fuck!"

"Stay still and look at the light!" She aimed it at me "is it that hard to follow directions bitch!" She snapped.

"Call her a bitch again and see what happens." Cody's strong voice boldly commanded. His face calm as he stood next to the open window.

"Damnit!" Niki cursed under her breath as she reached on a desk snatching a big book. She swung it through the air barely missing Cody's head.
