Authors note: Hey guys! This is my first book so it may not be perfecto! Hope you enjoy! ------------------------------------       Lisa is your typical 17 year old. Dreaming of boys. Taking hours in shops and going to parties. She never had what she wanted most. Her mum.

" Lisa! Get out of bed now!" Mr. Perry, Lisa's dad, yelled from downstairs. Lisa groaned as she rolled out of her bed.

Lisa looked in her closet for some clothes and picked out a pink V-neck t-shirt and some skinny jeans. As she did her mascara she couldn't help but notice that her dad's voice sounded more urgent. The more she thought of it the more urgent it sounded.

Lisa came down stairs and saw Mr.Perry on the phone, a briefcase in his right hand and a coke in the other. Lisa sat down just as Mr.Perry hung up the phone.

" Lisa", Mr.Perry said," I have very important business to do in New York. You are going to live with your aunt in Miami for a couple of months. She is living there while her house in Boston gets a renovation.I have your train booked for Saturday. Now I have to go to work. Bye. And remember no party this evening at whatever's house." Mr.Perry rushed out of the kitchen leaving Lisa gaping at the spot where he had just stood. SATURDAY!! Thats in 3 days! Lisa could have screamed. Her dad had no idea how tough it was for her growing up. She never had proper birthday parties or Christmas, and as a teenager she couldn't go to a single party. And now this! He's making her live somewhere else , booked the ticket to import her there and didn't even tell her!!! She was happy to leave home but she would have likes to have known about it and chosen a place to go. Not just to her Aunt's!!

Bit what could she do? She had no choice but to go. She'll be packed and scooted off in three days.

Lisa sat on her couch all afternoon. Once Mr.Perry came home Lisa had finished Chinese take away and left it on the mahogany table.

" After me telling you this since you could walk you still haven't learned? Get that rubbish of the table!!" Mr.Perry demanded. Lisa instantly new what to say in return. " And after having me for 17 years you still haven't learned how to be a father?!" She retorted. Mr.Perry, taken aback, yelled and pointed up stairs. "Go to your room NOW!. Lisa stormed out of the living room giving her father one last glare. As Mr.Perry sat on the red couch he heard the door slam shut.

Lisa had had enough. She would way rather live with her aunt than with her dad.
