Butterscotch Pie - Zane x Female! Reader x Garroth

You were a baker and you didn't seem to mind to admit it, even though Kawaii-Chan and you baked a bit more cakes than you intend to bake. You were waking around Phoenix Drop, since you had to drop off some butterscotch pie to Kawaii-Chan. The birds were tweeting sweetly to each other. You couldn't understand what they were tweeting to each other, but you could tell it was sweet things to each other. They sounded like lovers.

The pink box in your arms were smelling delicious and you just wanted to eat it, but it was for Kawaii-Chan. It was a favor she wanted to give to the pink-haired girl because she took care of your bakery you owned in the village. Y/N let out a breath escape out of her mouth as her footsteps were pressing against the smooth stone road, seeing the pink small cafe. It brought a small smile against your lips as you started to walk faster. Once you were at her doorstep, you knocked your fist against it softly.

Knock knock knock

The door didn't open nor did anyone come. You twisted the doorknob and it opened. Wait, why was it open?"Kawaii-Chan?.... Are you in here?" You asked the silence and saw a note on the table.

Hello Y/N-Sempai! Kawaii-Chan went out to get some supplies in another town for a few weeks, so Y/N-Sempai can enjoy the cupcakes I made for Y/N-Sempai! :3

You looked at the note, examining it. Huh, it did seem pretty empty in here... Maybe you can make a small party for her "Welcome Back!" surprise that you could make. Well, if she made cupcakes for you would they be in the fridge? Or maybe a chest. You started walking towards a chest and opened it, seeing around 190 cupcakes. Woah. That was a lot. You grabbed the plate of cupcakes along with your butterscotch pie and headed out of Kawaii-Chan's pink house, closing the door. You continued to walk along the smooth stone road once again, before you saw Lord Aphmau and her knights running into the woods. Where was Garroth? You decided not to think of that and continued to walk. Wait; Why were they even running out of the gates? Maybe they were on a urgent mission or a trip they had to attend to. You didn't really want to interfere since, well, you were a baker and not a knight. What could you do? You didn't have any special stuff like magiks or any powers. You sighed. You just bake. You just cook and bake, that's all. Nothing special about a baker much, instead of baking sweet stuff. You looked at the pie in your arms, the hot air from the pie going into your nostrils. It made you smile. You looked at the freshly baked cupcakes and the frosting on it. It too, smelled delicious. You continued to walk to your bakery, but something felt.... Wrong. It felt weird. It felt... Strange. You didn't like it one bit. You looked around, looking around to see if anything was out of place...

You felt a jolt go in you as you let out a small squeak. What the hell was that feeling?! You snapped your head side to side in a quick motion. Do you really have magiks? Probably not.

You decided to find out what that shock was, but you didn't really know where to even investigate. Maybe you could go find out where Aphmau and them were at.You did see them running towards the woods, so maybe you could just lie yourself into the woods. Walking to the gates, the guards looked down at you. "What do you need?" Kyle asked you from above (holy angels from the gates). "I need to deliver these sweets to the town of Meteli for a trade." You replied, trying not to sound like you were lying. "Alright, what trade?" "I give the person named Lovely some cupcakes and she gives me some books of information of more baking recipes." "Okay, be safe." Kyle said with a smile. He couldn't really be like a bold guard to you, since the two of you are awesome friends. "Thanks, Kyle. You too." You said back with a half-smile as the gate opened. You walked through the open gate and into the forest where Aphmau and them ran in. You suddenly heard swords fighting and started to fast walk. You saw Garroth pinning Katelyn as you were confused. What was even happening?! Suddenly, you saw this man with one of his eyes covered with his black hair with these charming blue sky eyes who just cackled and said, "You don't deserve this power. I know you, like Jeffery, are not truly loyal to me." Laurence then shouted, "YOU WON'T GET AWAY WITH THIS COWARD! COME FIGHT ME YOURSELF!" The unknown man then said, "I would love too, I truly would. However with this amulet in my hands, I don't need to waste my time with the likes of you."
