Laurence x Reader - Loyalty

WARNING: Blood and maybe mild language!!

"...." You were silent. Laurence currently had a sword to your neck, in his shadow form too. "L-Laur---" "Shut up! You don't know how I ever felt about Aphmau! You don't need to be up in people's business, you don't even need to be here Y/N! No one wants you here! Fake smiles are brought! Fake laughs are everywhere when you're around!" Laurence shouted, eyes crying red tears, but not blood.

"LAURENCE! STOP IT!" You heard Aphmau shout and kiss him. Your eyes widened, tears falling down your cheeks as the sword was dropped down to the ground.

Dead werewolves littered everywhere as you let go of the boutique of flowers. Yes you were one of the bridesmaids, but you too were forced to, just like how Aphmau was forced to be the bride.

You couldn't stop the tears, because you loved him. You loved Laurence, and you couldn't stop it. You couldn't stop loving how he always acts, the way he always teases you, everything. And yet Aphmau was here and Laurence was here, kissing once again. And you couldn't stop and soon, you fell on your knees, feeling like they were jelly inside, and let out screams of pain. Aphmau and Laurence looked at you in shock. "Wh-What's wrong, Y/N!? Did you get hurt!?" Aphmau asked, rushing down to your side. "... I hate it..." You whispered. "I hate loving someone, who loves another." "...."

The prince's mother then put both her hands on Laurence's and Aphmau's shoulder. "You three need to go. My son, he'll get angry and he'll avenge his father. So go." "Thank you..." Aphmau said before grabbing Laurence's arm and your arm, rushing out of there, grabbing Katelyn as well. Tears still stained your cheeks and you were still crying. Laurence glanced at you, concerned as suddenly Katelyn bolted after a girl she encountered.

Aphmau, you, and Laurence stayed by some trees, deciding to wait for Katelyn. You sniffed, hiding behind a tree, not facing the other two. You don't want them to see your face.

Wiping more tears off your cheeks, you sniffed once more and then turned around. Laurence was looking at you. "So... You love me?..." He asked a bit awkwardly.

"Y-Yeah, but I'll g-get over i-it..." You stuttered as you tried holding back your tears. "Y-You could fi-find someone else good I-in your life... 'No o-one wants me h-here'...." You finished your sentence with one of Laurence's sentence he had said to you earlier.

"Y-Y/N! Stop saying that about yourself.. You're not going to get over him just like that so... Why not try something different?" Aphmau considered. "Like...... Like...."

She started thinking. What could you do?

All you were was a guard, a very good guard too. A guard that had several broken hearts but each had a bandage around one crack, because she never got over the breakups.

Another crack forms in her heart because Laurence doesn't love her back.

Laurence was silent before embracing you in a hug.

"I'm sorry... You know I didn't mean those words, I-I was... Enraged..."

You sniffed. "But it's true... I'm always up in people's buisness, I sometimes see the fake smiles brought to me because of the pity they give for what I've been through, they always fake laugh with me because they feel awkward around me as I talk. It's all true..." You said, unlocking yourself from Laurence's embrace around you. "And don't hug me, Laurence. Because, I think I don't want any love from anyone anymore."

Two months... It's been two long months and Y/N had ignored Laurence and basically everyone.

Rude they call her.

Heartless they say behind her back.

Pitiful they whisper as she walks by them.
