You smiled when you woke up today. You couldn't stop giggling when you were at Aphmau's house to chat with Aphmau. You really wanted to have a surprise birthday like the ones in people's fan fictions and in real life.

You honestly spent your whole entire day out of your house and 'accidentally' left your house keys on Aphmau's couch.

You spent the whole day out at the mall and just went looking around shops and trying on clothes, buying some of them.

You spent the whole day at that weird maid cafè that Kawaii-Chan was working and talking about. Ordering any type of tea/coffee/soda/water and eating some breadsticks that were actually pretty good.

Letting out a happy hum, you walk through the mall, a few bags in your hand. Stomach all full and happy, you sat down on the chairs and went on your phone. Your parents suddenly called you and you answered.

"Happy birthday Y/N!!" Your mom had shouted into the phone as you winced but smiled. "Thanks mom. Where is dad?"

"I'm right here sweetly." Your dad replied. Even if you were just calling, you could feel them both smiling. "I can't believe you're such a big girl now!! Bring tears to my eyes...!" Mom said, sniffling.

You chuckled. "Well, just wait until I'm really old. Well... Thank you ma and pa." "Well, we gotta go now alright? Say hi to your friends for us!" Mom said and you your goodbyes before hanging up.

Looking at your clothes, you couldn't help but grin.

You were excited. You've been hunting at probably everyone on your birthday, hoping they get the catch... It was pretty obvious hints too, like

'So... Can't wait until tomorrow! Ain't gonna be working or doing much, just waiting for the day someone was born.'

And yet they just sorta... Ignored you and focused their attention towards Katelyn. Like they were excited. Was she pregnant?!

Probably not...

Thinking a bit more on this, you sighed. You mine as well ask her yourself... Or just ask other people!

Standing back onto your tired feet, you walked to your car, put your things in it, and drove to your home.

About thirty minutes later, you parked in your driveway and headed towards Garroth's house. Letting out a hum, you knocked on their door. Faint footsteps came towards you and you found Laurence in front of you. "Hi." He said. "What do you need?"

That was... A bit rude...

"Um... Is Katelyn having anything.. Well, is anything special happening with her? I seem people-"

"LAURENCE! WE'RE ALMOST LATE!" Dante shouted. "Seriously?! Travis told us that it was in an hour!" Laurence replied, slamming the door in her face. You felt hurt.

He didn't seem to want to even speak to you...

Well! Look on the bright side, at least you could just go to Aphmau's house and ask.

Walking over the street and onto Aphmau's front steps, you knock. Aphmau opened the door, panting. Powder covered her shirt, some of it on her face and hands.

"Hi Y/N!" She said with a few breaths in and out. "Hi Aph." You said with a small smile. "So, I seen you guys talking with Katelyn a lot more and I was just wondering, is anything special happening with her??" You asked.

"Oh! Today is her birthday, you didn't know??"

You were surprised. You didn't know Katelyn's birthday was today! Yours was too!
