Aaradhya's Pov.

My life has turned into a terrible nightmare. I am marrying none other than Riddhant Taneja.

Why God? Why?
Didn't you find any other worthy man rather than him?

From the time, we have returned from the Taneja Mansion
These people who are my family started behaving strangely as if I have won a nobel price.

Maa doesn't allow me to do the household chores rather she insists me to cook new cuisines every now and then.
From the past two days, I'm trying very hard to call Tiara but her phone is switched off as always.
Why do all the bad things happen at the same time?

While I was on my bed, busy reading my favourite Mills and Boon. All of a sudden, my phone started buzzing.

Some unknown caller Id appeared on the screen.
I answered my phone after few rings.

"Hello, who's this?" I enquired.

"Why did you take too much time to answer my call?" I heard his irritating tone.

"So it's you. who gave you my number, Riddhant?"

"Babe, I have my ways." He replied mockingly.

I knew who had given him my number.
I saw Aditi from my room window who was sheepishly smiling at me.

"Don't call me that, I'm not your girlfriend." I warned him.

"But you're my fiancee. Remember!" He interrupted.

"No, I am not. We didn't get engaged yet. Now would you tell me why did you call?" I asked him, coming directly to the point.

"Actually, I've planned a date as we didn't get much time that day to talk. So be ready by seven and don't worry, I've asked your parents permission." His voice seemed tensed.

"But I don't want to go anywhere." I tried to be soft.

"As I had told you earlier, you don't have any other choice but to come with me." He replied and hung up the call.

"Ugh." I pulled my hair in frustration.

I hate these dates. I had never been to any one of these. I didn't even had a boyfriend ever.

Yes, many of them had asked me earlier to go out with them but I had refused to all of them because I wasn't interested in these kind of stuffs but today as he said that I have no other choice because of my parents so I have to go.

After two hours of reading, I called Aditi in my room.
She as usual seemed euphoric while I was least interested.

She helped me to choose a dress. She removed my favorite off shoulder purple gown from my wardrobe and a pair of black stilettos to go with it. I took a quick shower and wore them.
After that, She curled my hair slightly and applied light makeup on my face. She also chose a set of diamond earrings that would go with the dress.
I finally took my clutch and mobile, completing my appearance for the date.

By six thirty in the evening, I was ready to go.

Riddhant came exactly at seven.

His looks are great even when I hate to admit but today, he's looking breathtaking in his black attire.
I had never seen him so prepped on his looks.
He has even applied gel to his jet black hair.
His light brown eyes caught mine and his lips inwardly turned into a smile which formed a tint of redness on my cheeks.

Stop it Aaradhya, Why are you blushing and you do hate him, don't you?

I reminded myself.

"Uncle, she'll be back by ten." He promised dad and surprisingly my dad nodded with a smile and we left in his black mercedes.

Does he like everything black?

Like his soul.

Unlike the other day, this time we didn't have any driver.
Strange!

He was driving his car instead and I had occupied the passenger seat.

"I am glad that this time you didn't sit behind." He sounded a bit sarcastic.

"Don't get any wrong ideas that I'm giving you a chance, It's just that I don't want to be rude today." I told him.

"Aaradhya, you are already giving me a chance by marrying me." He replied in his melodious voice and that shut me up.

That was true!

I didn't talk further and kept staring out.

He drove towards a fine dining restaurant. We exited the car and I clutched his arm while walking inside with him.

The restaurant was already full when we entered.
Why did he bring me here then?

I wondered where would we sit if the restaurant is wholly occupied?
We went to the receptionist and the manager greeted us politely then we followed the manager to the private dining area.

Oh My God!
This man has booked the most expensive outlet for just a simple date.

Is he crazy?

So what's the big deal Aaradhya, He might had done the same thing for his ex-girlfriends too including Tiara.

He gestured me to sit first by pulling a chair for me.

I am really impressed with the way he is behaving now.

Awkward, Isn't it?

Gentlemen Riddhant!

"So, did you like the arrangements?" He asked me.

I slightly nodded in a yes. He smiled before picking up the napkin.

"Can I ask you something, Riddhant?"I hesitated.

"If it's something related to our past differences then don't! because I don't want to spoil the evening." He replied.

"Yes, I wanted to talk about that too but now I just want to know why did you agree on marrying me? Is this any kind of revenge? If it is then you should tell me now."
I raised my eyebrows and he laughed.
A big hearty laugh!

I frowned.

"It's not revenge and I'll answer that question of yours some other time or you'll soon find out but for now let's just forget that we've had some problems to sort out.
We can share our backgrounds to know each other like from the past two years, I have been studying at London and you can tell me what did you do in the meantime." He spoke very calmly.

For the rest of the evening, he behaved very cordially as if we never had any issue between us.

He ordered my favorite pizza, alfredo pasta and tiramisu for the dessert.

Aditi must have told him about my likes and dislikes.
We talked a lot ignoring our conversation on our past encounters.

Riddhant never used any harshness in his voice despite of me being sarcastic at times.

Like he had promised my dad, he even dropped me home by ten.

May be I can at least manage myself after marriage if he behaves like this. No wonder, girls can easily fell for his charms.

But before we get engaged, it's important for me to inform Tiara about him.
I don't even know how will she react.
I know she's over him and has moved on. I hope she understands me once she finds out.
