Aaradhya's Pov.
Now I am back to Mumbai again but not alone this time.
I have my baby sister with me. My Adi.
Aditi was back to her old self with more enthusiasm this time. She always dreamt of leading this kind of life without any interference from our elders while I was okay with whatever they had planned for me with few exceptions though.
Time is moving with a rapid speed and Nikita is on her leave now so she mostly hangs out with Aditi while I am at the office.
Our self defense training is interestingly amazing because it's Chirag who is training us on Riddhant's persistence.
He's a black belt in judo and we have learned a lot of tricks from him.
During our practice sessions, I've found something awkward between him and Aditi because my sister flushes whenever he talks to her. I guess, she likes him and I have no problem with it as he's really a nice guy.
I can't tell this to Riddhant. He has turned into a overprotective brother and he'll surely beat the hell out of Chirag because he's too a black belt in judo and taekwondo.
Wedding preparations have started. Not mine actually Nikita's.
At office, Varun has already announced to everyone about it and some of the female staff have turned into cry babies.
Aditi's non stop blabbering about Riddhant has increased a lot from the time we're here in the flat, sometimes I plug cotton plug in my ears to avoid it. She adores him more then me and has turned into his agent along with his sister.
Now I envy him but no issues as he's also mine because I have fallen for him.
Yes, I love him but I have no courage to admit it especially to him. I want him to confess first but does he feel the same for me? I don't know.
He never referred me as one because may be, he still doesn't feel the same. I have even started liking his flirty attitude nowadays.
Oh my god! I'll go crazy or in better words, I'm already crazy about him. I just can't stop thinking. He often visits home or accompanies us to some shopping for Nikita's wedding just like today when we are here in the mall, buying traditional outfits and gifts.
"Hey, Where are you lost?" He swapped his fingers breaking my chain of thoughts.
"Yeah just grounded in some thoughts, what were you saying?" I asked him averting my gaze.
"Okay. I was just asking you, what else do you want?" He queried.
"No. we have bought everything, let's find the girls and leave." I said referring to Aditi and Nikita who were at the clothing section.
"Okay." He chimed while carrying our bags from the counter.
We came out from the gift shop and headed toward both of them who were already waiting for us with alot of bags.
"Woah! I think, Varun will soon turn into a bankrupt if Nikita, you keep shopping this much after your marriage." He mocked her.
"Wedding shopping is much more than this and I'm not like your fiancée who doesn't like shopping that much." She said whilst pointing at me.
"Who said that? She's too a shopaholic, isn't she, Aditi?" Riddhant debated.
"No Brother. This time, you are wrong? Sorry but the truth is what Niki di is saying. She only purchase stuff which are necessary." Aditi exclaimed while Nikita smirked.
"But I had seen her shopping too much when we had gone to the colaba market." Riddhant spoke.
"Did she buy that so much for herself there?" Aditi asked him.
He shook his head, recollecting about our previous shopping.
"See, at least we know her better than you. Last time she bought few dresses on my persuasion. She doesn't shop much." Nikita stated as Riddhant face fell in disappointed but he covered up by saying.
"I'm happy that atleast she won't turn me into a penurious man." He chuckled making me smile.
"Good for you." Nikita shrugged.
We quickly sat in the car and drove off.
He was silent throughout the ride but smiled at times.
The car halted near the building. Nikita and Aditi immediately exited the car.
"Aditi, Nikita take these bags. I'll get the other gift bags." I told them.
"Don't take too long with your lover boy." She teased while Aditi grinned.
Lover boy, Really?
I blushed and faced him but he seemed lost In his own world.
"Hey, are you alright?" I gently placed my palm on his shoulder.
"Yep, what did you say?" He answered due to my reflex.
"What's wrong with you?" I folded my arms.
"Nothing." He shrugged.
"Riddhant. I know there's something." I glared him.
"Okay fine, I'm such an idiot." He said.
"That you are." I agreed, trying not to laugh but earned a glare this time.
"Sorry but why do you think like that?" I questioned him.
"Because I judged you for something wrong. I think after all these months, I know nothing about you." He sounded low.
"Hey, it's okay. I've too judged you for something you aren't and it's not necessary that we should know everything about each other in just two months." I comforted him with my words.
He nodded sadly and helped me carry rest of the bags to Nikita's apartment.
As we entered the apartment, we dropped the bags on the table and occupied seats next to Aditi and Harsh who were watching Pro Kabbadi match while Nikita was on the call.
"Hey tigress, I have bought your favorite chocolates but spare some for us too or you'll turn into a panda." He offered the packet to me.
I excitingly took it from him.
"Hey, how did you know? These are her favorites because even I didn't knew." Aditi asked him in amusement.
"Because I am not a bad observant. I know her quite well. Her eyes always light up when I brought these" He replied.
Riddhant's smile disappeared as soon as Harsh blurted out those words and he started looking in his phone.
He got up from the couch.
"Hey, I have some work. I'll catch up with you all later on." He said roughly and stormed out without waiting for us to react.
The following day, he didn't show up, neither answered my calls or any texts. I tried asking him indirectly but didn't get any answers from him.
Was it because of yesterday?
From tomorrow onwards, Nikita's pre wedding ceremonies will commence.
I hope, I'll get to talk to him.
