"Answer me Naomi."

"I- I," her eyes rolled back making me let her go before she passed out and collapsed onto the floor.

I know damn well I ain't choke her that hard. Now I gotta carry her past her two big ass brothers who gone think I knocked her out.

I tried to shake her awake and sighed cause it wasn't working but I felt her neck and she was still breathing so I picked her up and carried her in both arms.

"What the hell happened to her?" Naorobi asked.

"She passed out, I'm about to take her to the ER."

"Alright, I'm coming with."

"Me too," the random nigga said.

"Nah, we straight, we got it." Naorobi said.

"I insist, I'll follow behind."

I shrugged the nigga off and took my keys out my pocket, jogging to my car and putting her in the back before getting in the front as Naorobi and ole boy followed suit.

"How she pass out?" 'Robi asked.

"Iono," my lying ass shrugged.

A quick ten minutes passed before I pulled up to the ER and carried her into the nearly empty waiting room.

"Hey, she passed out, can y'all see what's wrong?" Naorobi walked up to the desk.

After she called for some other nurses, they got her a wheelchair and I got a call from Anaya.

"Now is not the time," I told her.

"It's never the time witchu. It wasn't the time when I told you I was in labor the other day either."

"Anaya... get to the point." I said as I walked behind the nurse wheeling Naomi.

He asked what was my relationship to her and my dumb ass said husband, and he believed it I guess.

"The results are here and since you don't wanna pay for shit until you find out that he's your baby, get your ass down here and come see."

"I'll be there in a minute. Sibley Memorial right?"

She hung up so I guess that was a yes and the guy turned the corner, into a room with multiple people that only had curtains dividing them.

They placed her on the bed and started hooking her up to stuff.

"Hey, she asks where I'm at, tell her I'll be right back." I told them and they nodded.

I jogged down the hall and yawned, considering I was still tired from practice this morning, and went up to level C where the maternity floor was.

"Anaya Pepperman," I asked the nurse at the station.

"Aw, taken before I could even get to you?" she smirked.
