Chapter 2: Waiting For Him

[Zoe's POV]

I'm waiting for Chen at the indoor garden. I was alone here. I told my maid that I need my time alone. I swing back and forth there. That's all I could do. There is nothing that I can do a lot. I could only hear. Not seeing it.

Sometimes, I hate to be blind. I really don't like it.

But somehow, I'm happy. 

Well, just slightly sad. 

Chen never threat me well. But still, he's my husband and I love him as my husband. 

It's getting cold here. I didn't even bring my sweater here. I rubbed my arms since I'm using dress.

"Zoe?"

I heard a familiar voice. I felt someone appearance and I smiled. I know those smelled.

"Oh oppa."

"Why are you here alone? It's cold here."

I smiled and held his face. He hold both of my hands tightly.

"Your hands cold. How long you've been here?"

"No, I'm not long staying here."

"It's 11 pm. Have you eat?"

Wow, I've been waiting for him for 7 hours. I slowly shook my head.

"I'm waiting for Chen to come home from work. "

I heard Chanyeol sighed hardly. I smiled bitter. I knew it.

"He's not coming right?"

"Zoe, I-"

"It's okay oppa. You let him. Let him enjoy." I smiled and squeezed his hand lightly.

Chanyeol rubbed my hand softly and kissed on it. How I wish Chen would do that.

But, it will never be happened.

"Come on, let's get in. I'll cook for dinner."

"Can we just go out?" I blinked my eyes.

Chanyeol chuckled and pulled my hands to get me up.

"Let's go to grandpa's place?"

I smiled and nodded.

Beside mother, our grandpa is like a father to us. We pay a visit to him often. Sometimes, I will visit him by myself. 

For Dahye unnie, she barely visit him since she's busy with her own stuff. Baekhyun? When he has his time, he will pay a visit. Sometimes, we will go together too.

Chen? Mehh, don't bother to ask. He never visit grandpa which make grandpa upset with him. But, what can we do? We can't change him.

We arrived at Grandpa's place.

"Grandpa!!" Chanyeol exclaimed.

"Aigoo. Channie!!" I heard him.

"Hey grandpa!!"

I'm sure Chanyeol oppa is hugging him right now. I heard the footsteps closer and someone grabbed my hand.

I smiled. It's grandpa's hand. He put my hand on his face.

"You look just like your mother Seohye-ah."

"Ah, grandpa!!" I whined.

He chuckled and ruffled my hair.

"You know you will always be my little dear princess."

"Come on my lovely two person here. Let's get inside." Chanyeol said and he wrapped his arm around my waist.

"So, what's with you both came to my place at this late hour?" Grandpa asked as we sat down on the sofa.

"I kind a miss eating with you grandpa."

"Awhh, such a lovely but where's Chen? I've never seen him since the last time when I saw him during your wedding."

I gulped at my own saliva. Why suddenly grandpa asked about him? Usually he won't really bother.

"Ahh, well, he's busy handling the company." Chanyeol answered.

"You shouldn't make him word too much. He has a wife and you;re just a single man." Grandpa stated.

"Grandpa! You shouldn't mentioned that I don't have a partner in my life."

"Why? Do you want me to get you one?" 

I chuckled.

"See!! Even Seohye agree." 

I'm sure Chaneyol oppa is face palming himself.

"Come on kids. Dinner's ready. Oh should I say supper?"

I smelled the food. Wow, this is so heaven. 

"Here, say ahh Zoe." Chanyeol oppa said.

I opened my mouth and munched it.  Hmm~

"Oppa, I can eat myself."

"I don't want you to be look like greedy."

I death glared at him and pinched his nose. He groaned in pain.

"I'm not a kid anymore." I pouted.

He chuckled.

Suddenly a rang came from Chanyeol's phone and he picked it up.

"What!?" he sighed hardly.

"Okay, I'll be there. Just try to control him." he said and hang up.

"I'm sorry grandpa but we need to go now."

"Oh, must be important. Okay, go ahead."

Chanyeol stood up and he helped me to stand up.

Both of us bowed to grandpa and we went out from the place.

"What's going on?" I asked Chanyeol as his pace was getting faster.

"Chen is so troublesome. He tried to make some scene at the bar. Luckily, one of my friend there work in that bar knows him and he called me."

I sighed hardly. How can I face the drunken Chen?
