Chapter 11: How I Wish

[Chanyeol's POV]

Chen shouldn't be harsh to Zoe. I really want to punch him but it's not right. He's my best friend. I hold my anger towards Chen. I went to looked for Zoe. But she's nowhere to be found. I remember when she's down she will definitely go to that place.

The rooftop.

Where no one would able to find her there except me. It's our secret place since we were a little kid. I'm sure she find her way there. She remember the steps that I taught her.

I went there and I can see her figure. I tapped on her shoulder.

"Hey." I called her. She sniffed a bit. "Oppa.."

I sat down next to her and wipe her tears. "Just cry." I said and she cry hardly. I put her head ony shoulder.

We have been doing this whenever one of us down. After few times she cried, finally she calm down. I stroke her hair to calm her down. She lifted her head. "Are you okay?" I asked her and she slowly nodded. I wiped her remain tears. "Come on, let's go to my room." I said and stood up. I helped her to get up and we went to my room. It's not that far since it's near to my room. This is only place that we both can calm ourselves.

We went to my room and I asked her to sit on my bed. Well, it's like a studio room here since I keep my instruments here. I love to play it like piano, guitar and drum. There are still few things but I've always play guitar and piano. I went to my keyboard and started to play her favourite song.

I end it and Zoe clapping her hands. I smiled softly. It's been a while since I play the piano after father died. I just couldn't focus on playing the piano. Father used to play with me every night and it sad me.

But Zoe raise me up. She courage me not to stop playing the piano and I did. I didn't stop and I continue playing it. Zoe went to my place. I held her hand. "I miss Appa." she said. She hugged me and I hugged her waist. "I miss him too."

She broke the hugged and smile. "Let's not be sad right now and cheer up!!" she said excitedly. I chuckled and nods. "But right now, you need to rest. It's a long night for us." I said and she pout. "Okay, but can I just sleep here?" she asked. I nearly forgot about just now. "Sure, I just sleep here." I said. She shook her head. "I'll sleep on the couch."

"Pabo." I flicked her head. "I sleep in the guest room. Deal?"

"Deal."

I let her fix herself in my room as I went downstairs. Lights still on and I'm sure someone was there.

I went to kitchen and I saw Chen. He's drinking himself. I feel my anger towards him. I clenched my fist. I should just ignore him in a while. I grabbed the glass and pour some water. Both of us didn't exchange word and he continue drink the alcohol. "Chanyeol..."

"Look Jongdae, I'll forget what you've done."

"Really?"

I nodded. "But with one condition." I said. He looked at me. "You should apologise to Zoe or else I won't forgive you." I said. I need to make Chen to wake him up fron his own trapped. He shouldn't be cold. "You should just stop being cold and change. You don't even know what's behind of the reason why Zoe like that." I could see he clenched his fist. "I can't change easily Chanyeol-ah. Once you're in my state, you'll understand."

"You don't even tell us what's going on you. I've known you for years yet....." I stopped for a moment.

"You still didn't tell us why you're being like this. At least towards me."

Chen stormed his fist on the table and left the place. I sighed hardly.

THE NEXT DAY

I went to work a bit earlier. I couldn't be bother either Chen wanted to join with me or not. Our relationship are not in good condition right now. Zoe still fall asleep and I let her be. She's tired because of last night. I went down and Baekhyun was there alone. He seemed lifeless. I tapped on his shoulder.

"Are you okay?" he flinched a little and turned to looked at me. "I'm good Yeol." he smiled. I sat down with him. Something wrong with him. "Having fight with Dahye?" I asked and he shook his head. "I just need to prepare to work and visit the Orphanage." he said and stood up. "I'll see you later." he patted my shoulder.

Maybe cheering up myself will be fine. I just couldn't think straightly. Maybe I'm too worried. I stood up and wrapped my arm around Baekhyun. "Cheer up and let's go together. I'll send you to Orphanage." I said and both of us laughed.

How I wish all of us here and laughed together.
