Chapter 8: Get Away

[Dahye's POV]

I came home after I slept at my friend's house. I need a good bath right now. I park the car and I saw Chen beside his car. "Broke down again?" I asked him. He just smirked. "You were gone since yesterday." he said. I rolled my eyes. "You don't have to state it obviously." he just shrugged his shoulder. I went inside and I heard laughter.

I went to kitchen and I saw Baekhyun with Seohye. They are so happy. I clenched my fist. I'm jealous now. "Oppa." I said. Baekhyun turned his head. "O-oh, Dahye-ah." he called me. "I need to talk to you." I said coldly an went to our room.

I came in the room and crossed my arms. He came in too. "What's wrong? Are you sick?" he asked me in concerned. I turned my head and face him. "You don't have to be too kind to Seohye."

"Jagi, you kno-"

"I don't want to hear any excuses oppa. I'm here. You don't have to treat her too nice."

Then he keep in silent.

"If you're going to be with her again. I swear I'm going to break our engagement!!" I stormed out from the room.

Urgh!! I hate this feelings. What's so perfect about her? I came down and Seohye was there. "Unnie?" I didn't answer her, instead I bumped onto her shoulder. I feel so stress right now. I should just go somewhere else.

I went to my usual shop. I should meet my old friend. I went in and he looked at me. "Buying new clothes? Again?" he asked me. "Are you free now?" I asked him. He looked at me weirdly. "Have a seat." he said.

I went to sit down on the couch and waited for him. He came with a cup of tea. "Spit it out." he said. I slipped the tea and sighed. "I hate my life!!" I said.

He chuckled. "Why would you say that?"

"Baekhyun keep on clingy to Seohye. I feel like I want to punch that girl."

"Wow, hang on there Missy. You know Seohye is your sister."

"I don't know Kai." I pouted. He smiled and ruffled my hair. "Yah, you're being so unusual."

"I have no one to talk to."

"How about Chanyeol?"

"He won't understand me."

"Gee, you're so complicated."

I looked at him with a death glared. "I feel so dumb when I'm talking to you." he chuckled and nodded. "I'm always teasing you Dahye-ah."

I smiled softly. Kai and I are best friends. He's the only guy that I talked before I met Baekhyun. What I mean is I trusted him.

"Jongin."

"Hmm?"

"Do you perhaps still remember our moments?" I asked. He looked at me. "Why do ask?" I shrugged my shoulder. "I'm just curious."

He sighed and nodded. "Of course, you know I've still love you." I smiled and nodded. I slipped another tea. "Let's go and grab drinks like we used to be."

He shook his head. "I won't let you do that. Look at you now. You're so in a mess."

I sighed and puffed out my breathe. "I hate you." I mumbled and he laughed.

"You can stay here first if you want."

"You're no fun."

"Really? I'm no fun." he came near to me. I shook my head and get ride off his face from me.

"Shut up Kai." he chuckled. "Like an old time." I looked at him and chuckled. Whenever I'm upset, he will do that to me.

We used to be together when we're in 8th grade and I know it's so childish. When I'm in 9th grade that's when I met Baekhyun and fall for him. He was in 11th grade. Kai and I broke up just like that. He found out that I like Baekhyun. He wasn't mad or upset. Sounds crazy right?

"You're thinking about the past again?" he said. I looked at him and he's wearing a casual shirt. Not his uniform. "Well, I just remembered it Kai." he smiled and offered his hand. "Come on, I wanted you to go to a place where we could chill."

I smiled and grabbed his hand. Maybe spending time with Kai is not that harm. I just don't want to go home right now.
