Hey, remember that one time when I said that I was working on other stories and I was actually gonna update? Yeah....IM THE WORST PERSON EVER LMAO IM SO SORRY. BUT I MADE A ONE SHOT BC I WAS BORED LAST NIGHT AND IT TURNED OUT REALLY GOOD ACTUALLY. SO FITE ME.
But don't actually fight me. I would be v sad if you did lmao.

Dan and Phil have been friends ever since second grade when Phil moved in a couple of houses down from Dan. Their parents became friends first, then shortly after, Dan and Phil became friends. They were also always there for each other. For example, when Phil moved, he was bullied for his Northern accent. Dan would always stand up for him. Another example is when Phil came out to Dan as gay when they were 13. Phil was so scared of the thought that Dan might not accept him, he started crying. So Dan hugged Phil until he calmed down enough to tell him. Phil has had a crush on Dan ever since.
3 years later, Phil finds himself in the same position, only this time, he isn't crying. Phil really wants to tell Dan how much he means to him. He doesn't know how Dan will react though. From what Phil knows, Dan's as straight as a ruler. He's so scared of being rejected he almost doesn't want to follow through. But he does anyway.
Phil decides to invite Dan over to play video games. When Phil hears the doorbell, he runs to the door as quick as his 16 year-old legs can carry him. He opens the door to find a smiling Dan with a bag of Maltesers in his hand.
"Hey there, Philly!" Dan said, greeting his friend. Phil rolled his eyes.
"I thought I told you not to call me that." Phil whined closing the front door once Dan stepped in.
"That's all the more reason to call you that, Philly." Dan replies smugly, then playfully boops Phil on the nose. Phil rolls his eyes once again and smiles.
"Come on, let's go to the basement and play some Portal." Phil suggests. Dan nods and follows Phil to the basement.
When they get to the basement, Phil grabs a controller and sits in his usual spot on the couch. Dan then grabs the other controller and sits on the floor in between Phil's legs. Phil starts up the game and they start the usual banter between themselves.
"What the hell. Did you freaking fall off the level, you twat?" Dan said.
"Sorry! This level's hard!" Phil said making an excuse.
"Your mum's hard." Dan retorted. Phil pulled a gross face and went back to trying to beat the level. The level actually isn't hard, but Phil just has a lot on his mind at the moment. A couple minutes later, Phil makes the same mistake he did before.
"Alright, something's up. You're usually bad, but not this bad." Dan stated, pausing the game.
"I just have a lot on my mind right now. I can't think straight." Phil replied setting the controller down.
"What's on your mind?" Dan asked.
"There's this guy I like," Phil started. Dan looked up at Phil who was leaning over Dan, resting his elbows on his knees. "I really need to tell him something, but I'm scared that he'll reject me." Phil said with a sigh.
"Well why don't you just say it to him? If he rejects you, it's his loss." Phil blushes at the response.
"I-I'm just worried." Phil replied.
"About what?"
"Im just worried that it could ruin our friendship." Phil blurted out. Dan's eyes filled with confusion, but then they filled with realization.
"Phil-" Dan started, but Phil cut him off.
"Wait, let me explain." Phil said. "Dan, I really like you. Like, like-like you. I've liked you ever since we were 13 and I first came out to you. I'm so afraid of ruining things between us. You're my best friend, Dan. I don't want to lose you." Phil explained on the verge of tears. Dan's eyes grew wide, yet still soft as his friend told him everything. Dan reached up and took hold of Phil's face. He quickly pulled his face towards his and closed the gap. Phil almost immediately starting kissing Dan back. It was the perfect 'Spiderman' kiss.
"You're not going to lose me, Philly. I'm always going to be you're best friend. But, maybe even a little bit more now." Dan said once they pulled apart, hinting at being more than just friends.
"Wait, aren't you straight though?" Phil asked. Dan started laughing at the assumption.
"Me? Straight? You've got to be kidding. I'm not the least bit hetero." Dan explained. Phil frowned.
"Then how come you never told me. That would've made this a whole lot easier for me." Phil replied.
"It never came up in conversation." Dan said as Phil rolled his eyes.
"Oh really? What about the time I literally told you I was gay?" Phil questioned.
"I didn't know that I was gay at the time." Dan explained.
"Well, now that I know this information, would you like to be my boyfriend, Daniel?" Phil asked using Dan's full name.
"I would love too. And don't call me that, Philly." Dan replied. Phil smiled as he lent down to kiss his boyfriend.
"I think it's time we should finish the level." Phil said when their lips parted once more.
"Agreed" Dan replied.

Hello children! Yeh, I know, it's kinda short, but at least I made one. There might be a few more in the future if I feel like it. But, i'm going to delete my other gross ass stories and I'm gonna make an original one. I love making original stories more than making fan fics tbh. But anyway, HOPE YOU ENJOYED.
