We Live to Fight! {Young Justice & Avengers Crossover}

Better?

I walked into the tower followed by Megan,Robin, Conner, Kaldur, Artemis and Wally. Natasha and Pietro had to go. I set my bag down on the floor. 

"Do they always leave you alone?" Artemis asked me.

"No. Pepper is here to take care of me and make sure I don't get in trouble. But she's off on a  business of some sort."

"Oh." 

"Yeah-so what do you guys what to do?" I asked them as I walked towards the kitchen to go get some water. I quickly got a water bottle and walked back out to see the young heroes crowded around something. I walked towards them.

"What you got there?" I asked them. They all quickly turned to face me. I saw Robin put something away. 

"Nothing." Wally quickly answered. 

I narrowed my eyes. 

They're hiding something.  I was about to say something when the elevator  doors opened and Agent Hill walked in. She rushed towards me and grabbed my shoulders. 

"Are you ok?" she asked.

"Yes--Is something wrong?" I asked Agent Hill a little worried. 

"We must leave. Got pack your things."

"What?"

"Amber go!" she shouted.

I was a little shocked at how Maria was acting. I quickly rushed towards my room and packed my things. I quickly zipped up the bag and left. I heard a loud crash. I stopped for a second and then continued running. 

"Get Amber out!" Maria order. There were a bunch a guys dressed in black attacking Maria and the young group of heroes . Someone cover my mouth and  grabbed my waist. I squirmed trying to get out of the person's grip. It was no use. I tried to scream but  there was no point they wouldn't be able to hear me. The person knocked me out.

~~ 4 Days  Later~~

"There is still no sign of her or Maria." Natasha said as she paced around the room. The Young group of heroes were on the couch. The doors opened and another group of young kids also known as the Young Avengers  walked into the room. 

"Did you find anything?" Wanda asked Wiccan.

"Nothing. It's like they disappeared from the face of the earth. "

"They can't just disappear!" Tony shouted.

"Tony calm down. We're going to find them we're  not going to give up that easy." Steve reassured him.

~~ unknown location~~

Amber was sitting in the corner hugging herself. The room she was in was very cold. It's been four days since she was taken from Avengers tower. She wonder if they were looking for her.   She didn't like being in that room...but she didn't like going  outside the room either. She was scared of what those people in lab coats would do to her. They have been injecting liquid and or things  into her system  and taking some blood samples. She wasn't quite sure what they're doing to her- all she knows is that it hurt. She just wants to go home where the avengers would be and would  protect her from these horrible people. The door to the room opened and a man stood there.

"It's time." was all he said. Amber swallowed.

 She hoped that the avengers would find her soon.

She got off the bed and headed towards the door.

~~30 minutes later~~

Amber watched as the people in lab coats pushed some buttons. Amber closed her eyes because she knew what was going to happen. She clutched her jaw. She then felt the pain. It didn't hurt as much as before. It was like she was getting use to it. Then it stopped. She opened her eyes and looked around. To find someone she didn't expect to see. 

"Rebecca?!" Amber asked in shocked. Rebecca looked around and her eyes landed on Amber.

"Amber?!" Rebecca said relieved. This puzzled Amber. Rebecca  swallowed. "They caught you too?" she asked.

 Amber could tell she was scared.  

"Yeah." Amber said in a whisper. 

"Move!" One of the guys order Rebecca. Amber watched Rebecca until she  disappeared. 

"Great. Now my enemy is here." Amber thought to herself.

After a couple of hours of experimenting . Amber returned to her room where Rebecca was waiting for her. Amber froze where she saw Rebecca. 

"What is she doing in my room?" Amber asked herself. Amber continued walking and sat down on her bed. Both girls stayed silent. 

"How did they catch you?" Amber asked breaking the silence. She looked at Rebecca when she said this. 

"I was walking home from school. I didn't notice when a van pulled up......is this why you don't go to  school the other day? Because you were here."

Amber looked at her for the longest time and then turned away.

"Yes." she  answered.

"What were they doing to you?"

"Don't know."

"Will they do it to me?" Rebecca asked worried. Amber turned to look at her and the shrugged.

"I don't know why they would use you...after all you're useless." Amber said in a cold voice. Rebecca looked down at the ground a little hurt. No one in her life had ever called her useless. 

"Well they want me for something... or I wouldn't be here so I wouldn't consider myself useless."

"They might just want to kill you. It's what they do to the extras."

"What extras?" Rebecca asked curious. 

"The ones that they bring then take something from them and then kill them."

"If that's true....then why are you still here?"

"I guess I'm special." Amber said flatly.  

Rebecca didn't say anything and turned away.

"If it makes you feel any better I always thought you were special. "

Amber looked at Rebecca with a confused expression on her face. She then  narrowed her eyes.

" It  doesn't make me feel better because that means nothing coming from you! " 

"Look Amber I know that  we aren't exactly friends but we're suck here and I think it's best if we you know get along. We have to take care of each other." 

Amber crossed her arms. "I can take care of myself." 

"Amber-" 

"You know what? I'm tired I'm going to sleep so I would appreciate if you stayed quit."  Amber got under the covers and turned so that her back was facing Rebecca. 

"Please get here soon." Amber thought as she closed her eyes.
