Amber only got a few feet away until someone grabbed her arm. She turned around and to face a girl with blonde hair, blue eyes, and an s on her chest.
"You shouldn't go, not now at least."
Amber didn't know what it was about this girl but she listened and pulled out her phone to call Billy.
"Amber? W-"
"You have her, I've changed my mind." Amber then hung up and looked at the girl,"Who are you?"
"I'm Kara Danvers but I'm known as Supergirl to the rest of the world." She said with a light smile.
"Ok Kara why didn't you want me to go outside?"
"Hydra attacked the Queen residence and we believe they were going after you." Batman walked in.
"I wouldn't be surprised."
"Kara here is going to take you away for awhile until things come down with Hydra."
"Excuse me?"
"Just to be safe."
"No, you don't understand I can't go away."
"I've already talked about this with Dinah and she believes it's better this way."
"I have duties to S.H.I.E.L.D. and I-" Batman cut her off.
"You're going to have to forget about them for awhile and that's final." Batman then walked out.
Amber turned to Supergirl,"There's just no arguing with him is there?"
She smiled, "Well that's Batman for you."
"Did he tell you my name?" Amber asked.
"Nope."
"I'm Adeline, but you can call me Amber."
4 Months Later
It wasn't bad living with Kara, in fact, Amber gets along with her quite well. But she was worried about Hydra who doesn't seem to quiet down. In fact, Amber believes that with her absent Hydra has gotten a little bit stronger than before. Kara assured her that it was just her imagination and that she just believes that because she missing the thrill of fighting crime. Amber was still unsure and would have liked it better she was out hunting down Hydra than being stuck in the apartment that she shared with Kara. Kara noticed that Amber seemed quite down and asked permission from Canary and Green Arrow for Amber to fight alongside her. It took a bit of begging but they finally give in and in that second month Kara and Amber took the streets as Supergirl and Unity. The first week they started working together Kara asked her why Unity and Amber simply said, "Cause that's what my Aunt Nat calls me sometimes "I unite the Avengers."she says." and then walked to the kitchen leaving Kara wondering about her past. Amber's uniform wasn't so hard to pick out or make cause she used the one S.H.I.E.L.D. provided for her which was mostly black and a bit of white.
After the first two months, the girls seemed to know pretty much everything about each other and their fighting skills. They worked well on the field and out and Amber was hesitant at first but she ended up telling Kara everything about her past well telling her isn't the right word she showed her using thanks to her powers. They became pretty much good friends after that and Amber was thankful that she at least made a friend other than Roy and Robin which is a girl. Since they knew each other's weakness and strengths they know very well where they could be used during a mission.
They both knew this was just the beginning of their new friendship and Partnership as Kara& Amber and Supergirl&Unity.
