7 Days Later

The guards dropped down died. They had bullets in their chest and who ever aimed that was a good shooter. Amber seeing this as a window of opportunity that would soon close grabbed the keys of her cuff's from the dead man's pocket and unlocked the cuffs before she ran. As she ran down the hall with guards following close behind the ground shook knocking Amber to the ground followed by a loud sound. Amber didn't know exactly what was going on but if  she could guess  what was going on she  would guess that the loud sound  was a bomb . She waited four seconds before getting back on her feet because she would rather die than get caught by the guards again.  She couldn't see much because there was dust everywhere and she tried her best not to breathe the air that her lungs were crying. She soon  couldn't take it any longer she had to breathe, now.

4 Days Later 

Amber  jolted awake to a dramatic Disney song. She tried to control her breathing as she glanced around the room and saw the T.V. screen.  Amber quickly recognize the movie that was playing, The Hunchback of Notre Dame. She touched her head and a voice came from the doorway.

"Good, you're not dead."

Amber looked up and her eyes widen. Standing in front of her was the lady she saw at the park the other day. 

"Why would you think I'm dead?"

"Well, Tommy accidentally dropped you on the way here."

Amber tilted her head, "Who?"

"That's a really great trick," Laura said as she sat down at the end of the bed.

"What are you talking about?" Amber asked as she got off the bed and started to back away. 

"That necklace around your neck, it's a nice trick, Amber Stark." 

Amber narrowed her eyes. 

"You fooled them...didn't you?"

"I thought you were dead." Was all that came out of Amber's mouth.

"Well as you can see I'm not."

There was silence in the room for about a good five seconds until Laura spoke again.
