Chapter 10: The Hunt Begins.

Peppi was rushing with Marie and Redman out the restaurant to her home. Well, Redman ran to HIS home. Mia saw them and caught up "Hey guys? What's going on?" they stopped at Peppi's house. Peppi looked down at Mia. "Marie is no longer safe... She has to run as fast as she can. But first I have to give her some things. All to ensure her safety." She opened the door and Cassia greeted her "Wow darlin! You're home very early!" she noticed Marie "Oh, who's this little pile of sugar?" Marie was nervous "I-I'm Marie... Please don't hurt me..." "Don't worry darlin'! I won't hurt you!" She looked at Peppi "Don't tell me somethin' bad is happening...." Peppi sighed "The queen sent her guards out to hunt for Marie... They came to my restaurant and almost found her... She's not safe anymore. She has to run..." Mia put a hand on Marie's shoulder. "I'll help her get away!" Peppi sighed "But Mia, what about your mamma? Isn't she going to be worried?" "Don't worry! Its still pretty early! I'll just get her far enough until it's time for me to leave, so to make sure she's safe!" "Fine... Marie, follow me into the kitchen. I have things to give you." Marie followed Peppi. She was too nervous to the point of her whole body trembling "I don't like this... I'm scared...." Peppi kneeled down and hugged her tight " Shh.... Its alright... I promise everything is going be okay..." she let go and held her hands lightly "do you trust me?" Marie wiped her tears away. "Mm hmm...." she hugged Peppi tight and let go after 10 seconds. Peppi then gathered things to give Marie. "This is a cellphone. Redman had invented it to not lose power. It already has my number in it. You'll also need some food and something to protect yourself. " She gave her grilled cheese and a rolling pin "Marie... Promise me you'll be careful...." "I-I promise... I.... I.... I'll miss you...." Peppi choked up a bit. "I'll miss you too, Marie..." they hugged each other tightly Marie didn't want to let go, she was really comfortable in Peppi's house. It was like a second home. Peppi eventually let go. "Don't worry, Marie. I won't tell anyone you were here. Now go on... You-" Mia ran in The kitchen "PEPPI, CASSIA'S GOING INSANE!!!" Peppi was now concerned for her sweetheart "What did she do?" "She made a creepy smile and said she was gonna pay a visit to the Queen in a scary voice! She's gonna get hurt, Peppi!" "DIO MIO!! I have to stop her! Mia, take Marie as far as you can, and if you see those hunters, r u n... Marie, PLEASE be careful..." She ran to the castle. Mia held Marie's hand "Come on, Marie! I know someplace safe- hey, are you okay?" Marie shook her head "N-no.... I'm scared....." "Don't worry, Marie, I'll protect you if it makes feel better!" "ok... Lets go..." They ran out the house and into a forest-like area, unknowingly running towards Julius' house.

Meanwhile AT Julius' house, E.C.H.O. was outside in the front acting like that of a guard. Noila was inside the house watching Julius get supplies. "Alright... Ukulele, Comb, Baseball Bat, Rope, Genie Lamp-" Noila cut him off, "Genie Lamp? Where did you get that from?" Julius sweated nervously "uh.... Uh..... It was a gift! ...... I'LL BE RIGHT BACK!" He ran to his room, locking the door. "Dear God... I thought I destroyed this lamp!" It vibrated on it's own. A black mist came out the spout of the lamp followed by warped laughter "You.... Thought.... W r o n g...."

Overshadowing it's eyes. It wore a belt with a glowing red eye. The genie was much taller than Julius. "HEY THERE SHORTY. DID YA MISS ME!?" "N-No.... No I didn't! I thought I destroyed you! I told you I wanted him ALIVE. I gave YOU a simple order and you couldn't follow that, you TRAITOR. I had no choice but to destroy you... no go away! I don't N E E D your help, MUMBO." apparently, Mumbo was the genies name. "You eventually will.... Come on Julius... We can take this pathetic world over... Just like your dreams. Every human under your control. Everyone will obey to you... Let us make it just like you wanted." Julius shook his head. "No! I won't do it! It doesn't.... Feel right... I don't even like being a hunter either. But I have to do it to the queens expectations. And if I'm doing it, it's my OWN way. So no thank you!" Mumbo chuckled maniacally "You misunderstood.... I WASN'T ASKING FOR PERMISSION." Mumbo punched Julius in the stomach to the point where he nearly coughed up blood "AGH! CRA-" Mumbo then zapped a beam from his fingers. "From now on you're MY puppet. You will do as I tell you, or else this human will DIE in front of your eyes... Don't want that, do we!? no... I'll obey you...." Noila banged on his door "hurry up in there, we need to keep an eye out for the human." "c-coming!" he opened the door, holding his stomach "well, let's get going! The human isn't just gonna show up here!"

Marie kept running with Mia. They noticed the forest get creepier and more gloomier, though it was still early. "How far are we, Mia?" "not far enough, we have to keep going!" Suddenly, they crossed paths with E.C.H.O. Noila, and Julius. They stared at each other with no response. Tensions were extremely high. Mia whispered to Marie. She looked at her while doing so. "Marie..... R U N...." Marie just booked it with NO hesitations. E.C.H.O. was furious "OH WHAT THE QUAP EVER!" Mia used her fire magic to try to ward them off, but it only did minimum amounts of damage. Noila however ignored the flames and proceeded to pick up Mia without any effort "That's enough for you." Mia struggled "HEY! PUT ME DOWN NOW!" "That I cannot do. Now stop your squirming, it's making things more difficult." Julius and E.C.H.O. ran after Marie, seeing if they can keep ahead of each other. Noila dashed in front of them, growling fiercely "take the child back to the queen. I will handle the human... Well what are you waiting for!? GO." E.C.H.O. took Mia back to the castle. Julius just walked in another direction. "Bring her to me once you're finished. Or don't. Whichever you prefer."
