Chapter 12: Secret Revealed

Noila, instead of going home, went to the castle. It was a long trip, but he eventually made it. "This might cost me my job, but I do not care. This little girl is innocent." he opened the castle doors which made an excruciating *creak* noise. Mindy had awoken, out her fish bowl making a little snort noise "this had better be good- wait.... I thought I told you not to come back WITHOUT THE HUMAN. WHERE IS SHE!?" "I let her escape. She was too innocent." "YOU LET HER ESCAPE!?!?" "Yes. I did. YOU are the one at fault here. That is why I quit." He dropped his scythe. A blood curdling *slash* noise was heard. One of Mindy's razor sharp seashells slashed Noila across the chest, leaving him with a mark that was nearly gushing with blood, it also left him with 1 HP. "D-DAMN IT...." Mindy's hair got frizzy, the stars on her crown glowed with a bright green aura. A demented smirk was on her face. Her pupils shrunk out of insanity "Y O U T R A I T O R" a female tiger guard shorter than Noila had arrived to the scene "my queen, is there something that troubling you?" "SHOW THIS TRAITOR HIS PLACE. AND WHILE YOU'RE AT IT, LOCK YOURSELF WITH HIM TOO!" "B-but my queen, I have done nothing wrong-" "N O W" "a-as you wish, my queen..." the guard lead Noila down to the dungeon cell with Mia and Cassia. "S-so... You came to rub it in our faces, huh? We get It. The queen demanded it-" the guard was actually very worried about Noila and the others well beings "The queen demanded we throw ourselves in the dungeon with you." her voice started breaking up "She.... She hurt h-him.... My big brother...." Mia stepped in front of Cassia "wait, you're his sister!?" "Yes... My name is Regita. I used to train with my brother nearly every day, until the queen had separated us... She said he was m-more important than me... Now she hurt him and he's dusting... You have to help.... Please..." Mia reached into her inventory and gave Noila a slice of CinnaButtPie. It fully restored Noila's HP, as well as making his huge mark fade away. "Th-thank you... Little one.... What is your name, exactly?" "Mia... Mia Dreemurr.... What's your name?" "I am Noila... I am, or was, the part of Mindy's elite guard. This guard here is my younger sister, Regita." Cassia gasped "that's your sister!? She looks so young!" "That's because ever since my big brother joined Mindy's royal guard, I had to join him too! But... I didn't expect it to be like this... I know working for royalty is intense and scary.... But she's too mean! She hurt m-my brother... Oh no.... What if she hurts me!? I can't do it anymore!" Cassia put a hand on Regita's shoulder "don't worry! I know the queen won't hurt you.... Right?" "I don't even know... Don't you have any loved ones you constantly worry about!?" "Of course I do! I mean.... It's not like I won't see her again!

But other than that... She's.... She's The only thing I have... I love her more than I love MAKEUP! This can't be happening.... We gotta get out of here! *wheeze* I'M GETTING CLAUSTROPHOBIC!" Mia had a confused and slightly terrified look on her face "Claustrophobic? What does that mean?" Regita answered her question incorrectly. Not even she knew "I think it's when you're afraid of Santa Claus." Noila CORRECTLY answered her question "It actually means being afraid of tight spaces. There is no more room in this cell however. So we have to make things work." "*WHEEZE* I GET- *WHEEZE* VERY NERVOUS- *WHEEZE* IN THESE SITUATIONS *WHEEZE*" Cassia curled into a ball and continued shaking.

Meanwhile, Marie had been looking for a place to hide in. First she spotted a tiny little house with webs outside of it. She knocked on the front door lightly in hopes of an answer "Oh god... I hope its not HIM again. Last time I let a guy with horn drills in my house." it was Redman. He opened the door with his red sweater crawling with a spider on his shoulder "oh, Marie! I didn't expect you here! Quick, come inside. Could be dangerous out." Marie nodded and walked inside Redmans house while he closed the door. Shortly after he did, E.C.H.O. was dragging Julius along "YOU AND I ARE NOT GOING TO GIVE UP UNTIL WE FIND THIS HUMAN. WE MUST STAY DETERMINED" "But I don't wanna... Besides, it kinda doesn't feel right if I don't lead!" "TOO BAD. YOU SUCK AT LEADING, YA CLUTTERNUGGET!!! NOW COME ON. WE GOT A HUMAN TO FIND. THEN WE GET FOOD. UNTIL THEN, WE WILL NOT REST." Julius sighed and looked in his pocket. Mumbo was still having Julius under control. "that's right. Slave. Keep going" Marie overheard this. Obviously she was petrified of the thought of her being found. "M-Mr. Redman, They aren't going to find you, are they?" "Of course they aren't! Besides, if they do, I.... Will... Be forced... To ask Peppi for help, because I can't fight." Marie giggled at his remark. A little yellow star was sparkling near Redman's spider web. She touched it and heard a voice only she can hear "The thought of being protected by a friend... It fills you with determination." "De....Termination?" She had yet to learn. She looked back to ask Redman about it, but he was asleep in the heat of his sweater. He looked so adorable, but then weird because he was a 6'1 hooded figure. "Um.... Mr. Redman? I have a question" he snorted quietly. Shifting around almost revealing a type of brown fur. "Um.... Mr. Redman?" he woke up and his hood fell off. His full fur was brown, he had six eyes, his hair was curly, and-

He was a spider. "Oh.... No...." Marie froze in place. Her pupils shrunk. She was TERRIFIED of spiders. "A SPIDER!" She moved back. "No, wait! I'm not gonna hurt you!" Marie was still petrified. "Look, it's still me! Redman!" he put the hood back on "See?" he took it back off slowly "Don't worry, there's nothing to be scared of." "B-But I'm scared of spiders...." "If I tell you the truth... If I tell you who I really am... Maybe then you'll change your thoughts?" "Mm hmm..." he sat near her, but not too close. "My... My real name is Recluse. Where I come from is a bit of a long story.... You see, after the war happened, I hid in a cave... Nearly everyone had known me because I had raised a spider named 'Muffet'. But I went through a lot trying to raise her... But after everything almost went my way, Asgore wouldn't let me die... To end my suffering... But instead he let me live... So I faked my death and ran away here, sealing my identity... Since then everyone refers to me as Redman because of my hood. But I don't know if I should go out there and show who I really am. What if.... What if I scare people?" Marie put a hand on Recluse's shoulder. "You won't scare anybody! I mean, at first they'll be a lil bit frightened, but if they get to know you, I'm sure they'll be friends with you!" "You really think so?" "Mm hmm! Don't worry, Mr. Recluse!" "Thank you, Marie. That made me feel better... Now, since you can't stay here for long, I'll have to send you on your way. But don't worry, I have something to give you." "Oh, don't worry! Peppi already gave me one of your phones!" "....She did? Well that's just awesome! Wait, I have an idea. Hand me your phone, I'll make a couple of improvements on it!" Marie handed Redman the phone. He walked to a room with a tiny door and crawled inside. Contsruction noises along with dogs barking and female singing was heard from the door. He came out with the same phone, but with different upgrades. "I added a couple of things to the phone! Now it has a flashlight and a secret weapon inside!

Don't judge me." "Thank you, Mr. Recluse!" "No problem Marie! And um... Thanks for making me feel better about myself... I guess Your determination got to me..." "... You're welcome..." she had NO idea what determination was. she had yet to learn. "Before you go, I have food to give you! It's Spider Donuts. I promise it's not made out of spiders." "Thanks! I'll see you around, Mr. Recluse!" she ran out the house with the spider donuts "Later Marie! I'll call in a little bit!"
