M'gan was in the kitchen.  She was frustrated.  Really frustrated.  She was a sweet girl, and it honestly took a lot to get her even frustrated.  And another failed batch of cookies did it.  Along with the guilt of harming Robin in the last mission, by accident of course.  But it broke her heart, to see him bleeding, crying, crying like the world was going to end.

"No!"  M'gan cried taking out another burnt batch of cookies,"I just can't get this right!"  She used her telekinesis to lift up her whole batch of ingredients and scatter them everywhere, making a huge mess.  She sighed and started to clean up.

"It's fine enough for me, Green Cheeks!"  M'gan turned to see a certain ginger sitting on the counter eating her burnt cookies, "I'm fine with them!"

"I'm glad you are, but I don't think anybody else would appreciate burnt cookies.  And plus, it's Artemis's birthday tomorrow and I want to make her cookies." M'gan took off her apron, wiping away tears that she didn't want Wally to see."Where's the rest of the team?"

"Well, I think that Connor is sparring with Kaldur in the next room.  Last time I saw, he totally wiped Kaldur out!" Wally giggled, replaying the move that Connor had done on Kaldur in his head.

"What about Robin and Artemis?" M'gan asked.

"Well, I think Artemis is up in her room, moping about something and Robin is in the gym working on umm...." The last thing Wally wanted to say was the trapeze, Robin would be really mad if he had hinted about his identity,"His flips, you know how much he likes them."  Wally smiled,"Anyway, you could just make another batch of cookies you know!"

"But I can't make them!"  M'gan sighed and sat down, crying, she couldn't seem to do anything right, from cookies, to hurting her teammate. "I just can't."

"Nobody gets things right on their first try, not even the people you consider perfect, the only way to get things right is to try, try, try, and have hope and belief, 'cause that's what gets you through half of it." Wally said,"So what do you say you try again, for Artemis."

M'gan sniffed,"You have the ability to not be sarcastic?"

Wally shrugged, embarrassed,"I know, I'm sorry, that was really cheesy, but I can't stand to see people cry, like you.  You know?"  he sat down next to her.

"Yeah, I feel the same." M'gan smiled at him,"But then I saw this amazing quote.  Connor showed it to me"

Wally smiled, he knew about M'gan and Connor and as sad as he felt about her being taken, he was glad she was happy with Connor, he really was a great guy.

M'gan started to say the quote,"People cry, not because they are weak.."

"But because they have been strong for to long." Wally finished for her, glancing at her confused face he offered an explanation,  "Rob told me that quote.  Johnny Depp or someone said it.  I honestly don't know."

"Oh," M'gan said,"Robin." She started to cry, the image of a bloody Robin crippled on the ground after she had blasted him with all her strength, it wasn't aimed for him, it was aimed for Simon, but she missed, and Robin had paid the price.  She started to cry.

"You aren't crying over those cookies are you?" Wally asked.

"No, about what I did to Robin." M'gan responded.

"It wasn't your fault you know that right?" Wally said, trying to console her.

"How was it not my fault?"M'gan broke out into tears again.

"Simon probably rerouted your physic blast." Wally replied, knowing that this was probably true.

"But Robin is mad at me I bet," M'gan said,"I bet he hates me."

"I doubt it, Rob doesn't hate you." Wally looked at her surprised.  Rob wouldn't hate her.  What would make her say that.

"He does, he hates me with all his heart." M'gan said.

"Now how do you know that?" Wally asked.

"I just know.  I hurt him so bad, of course he hates me."  M'gan said.

"Rob has been hurt worse, come on I'll prove to you he doesn't hate you."  Wally said pulling M'gan up and dragged her to the gym.

"Hurt worse?" M'gan questioned.

"Here we are!" Wally avoided the question.

Together they entered the gym, Robin was flying across the trapeze with grace.  Spinning and flying and flipping.  It was beautiful.  Wally paused before yelling anything.  Seeing his best friend flying on the trapeze, so free, so young, so innocent, he felt he couldn't ruin the moment, but Robin would understand.

"Hey Rob!"  Wally yelled to the young teen.

Robin stopped and flipped down, slightly surprised. "Hey KF!  Hey Miss. M!"

"Dude, why do you do the trapeze in your sunglasses?"  Wally asked momentarily sidetracked.

Robin hit him,"What do you want Kid Mouth?"

Wally glared at him,"Anyway, M'gan thinks you hate her."

"Why the heck would I hate you!"  Robin looked at M'gan with worry in his eyes,"What did I do?  Did I hurt you?  Was I being creepy? What?"

"No, I hurt you." M'gan responded with equal surprise, he acted like he didn't know what she was talking bout.

"Oh that." Robin dismissed that thought,"I've been hit worse, though that did hurt." he joked, not realizing that M'gan was serious.

M'gan burst out crying,"But I hurt you, and you hate me!"

"Hate you?!" Robin was taken aback, then he suddenly did something M'gan didn't imagine he would ever do.  He hugged her. "M'gan, it was an accident, it wasn't your fault, Simon probably rerouted your blast, I would never hate you."

M'gan sniffed,"Really?"

"Really." Robin responded seriously.

"Now how about we all bake some cookies?" Wally said grinning.

"Why? So you can eat them?" Robin replied sarcastically.

"For Artemis's birthday!  Dummy."  Wally said, toying with his friend.

"Hey!" Robin yelled chasing Wally out of the gym and into the kitchen.

M'gan smiled and floated after them, relived, and happy.  Happy to have such great friends.

Upon entering the kitchen, the boys and M'gan got to work.  Well it was mostly M'gan.  Wally and Robin just sat on the counter offering advice and talking to keep her company.

And when M'gan opened the stove, her cookies were perfect.
