Madison's pov💢
"Wake up!" Cameron jumps on my bed.
"Ow. What?" I laugh.
"I got bored." He shrugs.
"So you woke me up?"
"Yes." He smiles. I roll my eyes and get out of bed.
We both head to the kitchen. I look in the fridge while Cameron sits at the island.
"So, why exactly did you come here?" I ask him.
He looks up from his phone.
"Um.. I just, didn't get to say goodbye.."
I nod. I don't believe that.
"So, I've been meaning to ask you. Want to come home with me tomorrow for thanksgiving?" Cameron asks casually.
"Are you sure your family wants me there?" I laugh.
"They already said yes." He smiles.
"I don't know.."
"Come on.." He whines.
"Ugh. Fine." I laugh.
"Yes!" He comes over to me and throws me over his shoulder.
"Cameron!" I laugh.
"Put me down." He finally does.
Hopefully his family likes me tomorrow..
-next day-
"Ready?" Cameron asks at me door. I nod. I take my suitcase off my bed, and start wheeling it towards the door. Cameron takes it from me and brings it down the stairs. I really didn't want to bring it down the stairs so I'm glad he did it. We get in the Uber he called and drive to the airport. If his family doesn't like me then Cameron probably won't be friends with me after. I think Cameron asked me to come cause he knew I'd be alone. I wasn't even going to Matt's this year. We get through all the security and head to our gate.
"I'll be back." Cameron says. I nod. He sets his bag down next to me for me to watch it for him. We still have about 35 minutes before they'll start letting us get on. I start scrolling through Instagram. It's pretty boring.
"Here." I look up and see Cameron handing me a coffee.
"Thanks." I smile at him.
He sits down next to me and starts looking at my phone, seeing what my feed is on Instagram. It's nothing too special.
"So, why did you ask me to go home with you for thanksgiving?" I ask Cameron. He shrugs.
"Just to have a friend there."
"You didn't invite Aaron? Or Matt?"
"They're both with their families."
"Ah. So you invited me cause I was the only one left." I laugh.
"Shut up." Cameron playfully shoves me.
"I would of probably taken you even if they were alone on thanksgiving." Honestly, I doubt that.
"Flight 276." The lady calls.
Cameron and I stand up and board the plane. He gives me the window seat and he takes the middle seat next to me. I thought he was gonna make me sit in the middle.
-after the plane ride-
"Mads." Cameron shakes me.
"Sorry, i fell asleep on your shoulder. Again." I laugh.
"It's okay." He laughs. He makes a good pillow. We get our luggage and wait outside for his mom and dad to pick us up. "There they are." Cameron points to a car pulling up. I nod and follow him over to it.
His mom hugs Cameron first.
"You must be Madison." She smiles at me.
"Yeah." I smile back. She hugs me tightly. I didn't expect that.
His dad then comes over to me and hugs me too. Wow, friendly family. Opposite of mine. They go back in the car. I look at Cameron, he laughs and gets in the car too. I follow close behind. It's not a long drive from the airport to Cameron's house, which may I add is huge. Meanwhile, I'm in a little apartment. This place is great.
"I'll show you your room." Cameron grabs my hand and pulls me upstairs.
"Here we are. The guest room." I laugh. It has a connecting bathroom, queen size bed, walk in closet. Holy crap.
"Your house is fucking huge." I say sitting on the bed. He laughs.
"Yeah I guess." He sits next to me.
"Hey, thanks for bringing me here. Now, I don't have to be alone." I chuckle.
"No problem." He grabs my hand.
We hear a knock on the door.
"Yeah?" Cameron says.
"Hey." I'm guessing his sister opens it.
"You're madison right?" She asks me. I nod.
"I'm Sierra."
"Nice to meet you." I smile at her. She smiles back. She hugs Cameron and they say their hi's. She eventually leaves.
