Chapter 13:
Cameron's pov💢
I can't believe I let this happen to her. I didn't even realize I stepped forward, I just did. I feel awful. I'm sitting in the waiting room of the hospital, just waiting for the nurse to tell me she's okay. I need her to be okay.
"What happened?" My mom asks me.
I then explain to her about her dad, Kyle, up until now. Every little thing.
"Oh my god." Her eyes watered.
"She's waking up now. You can go see her just two at a time." The nurse tells me. I nod. I stand up with my mom and we both walk in.
Mads opens her eyes.
"Ah hey guys." She says.
Madison's pov💢
I wake up and see Cameron and his mom. His mom immediately hugs me.
"Hi." I laugh.
"Thank you." She continues hugging me.
"For what?"
"Protecting Cameron by dating that Kyle kid. I owe you so much." She squeezes me a little tighter than releases me.
"I'll leave you guys alone." She says and leaves the room.
"I'm so glad your okay." Cameron steps closer to me.
"You told her!"
"I kinda had to.."
"How much did you tell?" I raise my eyebrows.
"The whole thing. Your dad, Kyle."
"My dad!? You told her about my dad!"
"I had to."
"No! You didn't! You could of just said the Kyle part! Cameron, I don't tell everyone that. Now another person knows."
"Really? You told me, Matt, Sierra, and that's only some."
"No. That's all." I cross my arms. I'm furious, I can't believe he told. I hate people knowing that.
"I'm sorry. The important thing is that you're okay."
"No, Cameron I don't even care about me. I can't believe you told her. Do you know how embarrassing that is?" My eyes start watering.
"Embarrassing?" He asks confused.
"Yes. I was beaten up by my dad. That's so embarrassing."
"I didn't know I'm-"
"Just go." I avoid eye contact with him. I'm just so mad at him right now. He had no right.
