Today we can finally meet our daughter. Toby and I are so exited to see her. I just picked Toby up and now we are on the way to our lawyer.
We just got to the lawyer office and now we wait until the parents of our daugthter get here.
"What is the plan now?"
"Well she is only four years and this is very confusing for her." We nod and wait in the office until we hear the door open. Toby and I both look towarwards the door and see the women and the men we saw yesterday with our daughter. When I see her I can't stop smiling. She has the blue eyes from Toby and a little lighter hair then mine. I can see that she is a little shy as she covers herself behind her mothers back. I don't blame her and I think she got that from me. I can't trust people at first but when I know them better I can be an open book. I smile and bend down to her level.
"Hi sweetie. What's your name?" She smiles shiley and speaks.
"I'm Skyla Addison Meiry."
"That's a really beautiful name."
"Thanks." She sits down on her mother's lap and we sit down also. I just can't stop looking at her. She is so beautiful with her hair and the blue eyes she got from Toby.
"So what are we doing now?"
"You can get to know eachother this week but I think it would be good when the parents are here with her for this week. Then you guys can have her for a few hours. I think we should do this for atleast six months and then she can sleep at your place. We need to work on this slowly to help her understand what is going on."
"Yeah sure we understand."
"Are the parent's ok with this?" I look at the woman who has our daughter on her lap.
"Yeah I think that this is going to be hard but she needs you guys."
"So you can change your numbers and then you guys can meet. I will call you every week so that you keep me updated."
"That's alright with me." We talk with the lawyer some more. Before Toby and I head back home we make up a date where we meet eachother. It's in two days and I can't wait and neither can Toby.
So this will be the last chapter until Thursday. My friends and I are going on a vacation. But when I am back home on I will update again.
