I made a mistake/ a Spoby fanfic

Birthday

~two months later~
Today is Skyla's fifth birthday. I can't believe that she is already five years old. Today my parents and my friends are coming over to celebrate with us. One month ago my parents met Skyla for the first day and they already love her. Toby and I made breakfast for her and now we are going to wake her up. We walk quietly in her room where Skyla is still asleep.
"Wake up birthday girl. It's your birthday. Happy birthday." I hug her and kiss her cheek. I move away so that Toby can congratulate her.
"Come on we go downstairs to eat breakfast and then we get you ready for your birthday party."
"I'm exited. Who will come mommy?"
"Everyone. Grandma, Grandpa, your aunts and their boyfriend's." She nods and reaches up for Toby so he can pick her up.
We ate breakfast and changed and in one hour everybody will come here. Skyla is upstairs because Toby and I need to finish her present. She will be so exited. We want to give her the present now so I'm exited how she is going to react.
"Skyla can you come downstairs."
"Yeah Daddy." When Skyla walks downstairs Toby and I sit already on the sofa with her present on my lap. She sits down on Toby's lap and waits for us to say something.
"Okay sweetie Daddy and I want to give you your present now alright? We both thought that this will be something you like. Your ready?" She nods and waits for us to give her her present. As soon as Skyla opens her present she gasps.
"You did get me a dog? Thank you."
"No probleme sweetie."
"What is the dogs name?"
"It is a girl but you can decide."
"Can we name her Ariel?"
"Of course. That's s cute nam."

~later~
My parents are already here and Skyla showed them Ariel and now we are waiting for the girls. Just as I come back into the livingroom I hear the doorbell ring.
"Mommy can I open the door?" I nod and Skyla smiles when she sees the girls and their boyfriend's.
"Hi."
"Hi. Happy birthday."
"Thank you. Do you know what I got from Mommy and Daddy?"
"No what sweetie?"
"A dog. Come on I show you the dog." Before I get the chance to say hello to the girls Skyla drags the girls towawards Ariel.

We had a great day and Skyla had so much fun. She got so much toys and clothes and Hanna promised her to take Skyla on a shopping tour soon and she is so exited about it.
