Chapter Three

"It's fine, she'll come around."

"You know what's not fine? She's not gonna."

"Stop being so paranoid. It's not like she's gonna die or anything like that."

"News flash, she might. Boy, you didn't overdosed her, didn't you?"

"Of course I didn't! I take my job very seriously and -"

"Hush! She's waking up."

It was very cold and dark. I was numb. Or so I thought.

"Stop poking me for god's sake!" I snapped as I sat up straight.

"She's feisty," Will stated and got a nod as a reply from Robert.

I got up from the special chair and straightened my shirt which has ridden up a little bit.

"You have done very well, Miss Sierra," stated Will. "We'll just have to wait for the results from both procedures, it will probably be done processing after 2 more sunsets."

"Alright, cool. What should I do in the mean time?" I asked as I looked over to Robert.

"I'll take you back to Earth. You still have school tomorrow," Robert answered.

"Will she be coming back?" asked Will.

I smiled at him.

"Yes, after school tomorrow. I'll be teaching her more about Sona and Illinoises in the Library of How It All Started," Robert said.

"That's a funny name for a library."

"Well at least it makes sense and is straight to the point," retorted Robert.

I put my hands up in surrender, "I guess we should get going then."

Robert reached into his pocket to take out a blue orb that he placed on the floor which he sat on, cross-legged and I followed his lead, not before Will said his farewell and gave me another peck on the hand.

"I can't do this anymore. If you don't tell me... If you don't tell me then I might as well leave," My mom's sobs were more visible and clear now.

I took my bolster and hugged it tighter. I don't want my family to be like this.

"I am not what you think I am. I posses an abnormal ability ; precognition. I can sense what happened in a room just by looking at an object in it. I - " He paused, "I should not tell you here." And with that, she took her away with him.

"So, that's half of the Sona map explained."

I grunted. Robert directly took me to Sona right after I got out from school and he's been teaching me about history ever since. All we've learned so far is where all the Sona's library, neighborhoods, shops, churches and public spots are.

"Okay. Now, we'll move on to this shaded spot right here," he pointed on a dark spot covering 25% of the map on the left corner. "This is the - "

A man with a big hat and a dramatic cape came in and whispered in Robert's ear. The man seemed kind of pissed when Robert's expression didn't change at all.
