"Alright Ms. Avery, Jaley is all set to go home. I just need you to sign these discharge papers and you guys will be on y'all way" I said to my patient mom.

"Alright" Stephani said.

Jaley was in a bad car accident. The accident punctured her rib and arms. She was losing Alot of blood. I almost gave up but I thought "I would hate if this was my baby and the doctor gave up on her or him." After 5 long hours of surgery we saved her. 2 months later she's fully recovered and full of energy.

"Are you ready to go home?!"

"Yes!" She said jumping on the bed.

"Alright give me hug. And you can be on your way"

She jumped into my arms and squeezed me so tight.

"C-Can't breath"

"Oh I'm sorry" she giggled.

"It's ok"

I looked over at Stephani Jaley's mom. She was smiling at us. Stephani been my good friend for about five years and Jaley is like my niece but I look at her as my god child.

"Alright I have to go. Come back and visit me anytime or call and I can take you and my niece out on a girls day out. But we gotta see if your mom is OK with it first" I said turning around.

"Of course you can" she said.

"YAYYYYYYYYY!!!" Jaley said excitedly.

"Alright I'll see you soon" I said hugging her again.

"Bye JazMyne" she said as I was walking out the door. I smiled.

While I was walking down the hall looking at my clip board I bumped into someone. I looked down at the shoes and knew it was a male.

"Next time watch where you going" he said with an attitude.

"Sorry"

"Yeah whateva. Get the fuck out my way" he said.

"Excuse me?" I said shockingly.

"You heard me bitch" he said walking away from me.

My mouth dropped open. I grabbed his arm and he yanked it away and pushed me on the ground. I hopped quicker then I planned to do.

My adrenaline was going and I don't know what came over me. "Aye Bitch!" He turned around and I socked him in jaw and blood came out his mouth.

"You need to learn how to treat a woman. No women! You need to learn how to treat women! You not doing shit but making my day even harder. Now please get the fuck out my face!" with that being said he walked away with all the nurses and people that was in the rooms or at the computers looking at him.

"Get back to work! Thank you."

"You okay girl?" My bestfriend Cincere asked me

"Yeah that dumb ass gone put his hands on me. I hate coming out of my character at work but he took me there. But he looks so familiar, I just can't put my finger on where I knew him from" I said sighing.

"He look like that one dude you was with brother. What was his name?" she asked.

"Who Reese?"

"Yeah, yeah him. He had a younger brother named Hakeem" she said.

"I remember"

"Well Reese got what he deserved, but I might be wrong so don't go asking him questions" she said pointing her finger in my face.
